can you do trades in offseason before the draft?

so im just wondering , can you send trades to other teams in the offseason before the draft in order to get some upcoming draft picks? or do you have to wait until draft starts and send trades for the picks in that draft? havent made it there yet, but have a deal for a couple of picks and was wondering when is soonest i can send this trade thru.... thanks for any legit answers

Once you get to the week of the draft you cannot make trades, only in the draft and you can only get picks back from the CPU during the draft, NOT players.

ok thanks , but im asking about the weeks prior to the draft that is the offseason, there are lik 5 weeks before that, we cant send trades then before the draft?

You can do trades in offseason week 7 in the final scouting week. This the week I try to move picks around since you can negotiate on the pick rather than having one shot at the pick during the draft.

You can make trades the week after free agency ends, not at home now but 95% certain. You can definitely make them in week 7 (ie the week before the draft).
