Stupid Question

I've been a 10+ year Madden player. This is the one year I waited to purchase it because I couldn't see the game being worth $60. Well, I ended up buying it on Black Friday for $25 and went to go start my franchise..or career mode if you will call it and noticed the rosters in the career mode are not the up to date rosters that are available in the play now or online games. I must be doing something wrong? I can't imagine EA screwed up THIS bad as to where you can't use the EA generated rosters in a career mode.

Someone please tell me I'm doing something wrong??

if u are playing online CCM the rosters are out of date and are week 4's? i believe but if u play offline CCM u can choose custom rosters(play now) and u will have up to date ones just the overalls of players will be different because of how they made CCM run like that.

Both Online and Offline CCM rosters are back to week 4. Online you can't use custom rosters but with Offline, you can. If you play offline on default rosters, you get week 4 only.
