Retirement Pkg?

I would like to keep my MLB London Fletcher from retiring.
I see the Retirement Pkg says, "slighty decreases a players chance at retiring at this pos.".
Does that mean he won't retire?
Does it work?
Do I need to keep purchasing that Pkg so its more likely he will stay?

No it means that there is a slighty lower chance of him retiring. It is no guarantee by any means. And you can only purchase it once, like all other packages

Can't hurt to purchase the "Retirement Package".
Have no idea if it works but since the game has no programming to indicate what an aging players intentions may be, the retirement package is the only option.
I had Big Ben retire at the end of 2015. Two years left on contract, no ratings drop or change in his abilities whatsoever. Found out after the draft that he was no longer on my depth chart??
Most players simply disappear but significant players such as Big Ben get a little press coverage on the media page.
Since then I have learned to check the news every week in my ccm!

No it means that there is a slighty lower chance of him retiring.

Yeah, It means theres a less amount of CHANCE he will retire, so it could work sometimes and make the guy stay in the NFL for one more year but it may not work

I already bought ALL the XP Boosts AND the scouting packages and have NO interest in the Free Agency / Resign options so:

Like you, I'm gonna buy the MLB retirement package (D. Jackson / CLE is my second oldest player in 2016 at 31) and the K retirement package (Dawson is 40)...

It's vague...no one seems to have anything definitive to say, but heck yeah...

From now on, that's where my HC XP is going...retirement packages...

Like I said, nothing else worthwhile left anyway...
