I did a search for this and couldn't find this thread, so I apologize if this is a reposted question.
I've recently been playing a ton of NCAA 14 lately and with the redesign of the option in NCAA I was curious if they are going to use a similar design for running the option in Madden 25.
Now I'm one of those guys that argues the Option on a pro level is useless. It's effective in college because of the personnel but in the NFL it's the best of the best and therefore it's extremely ineffective.... however with that said.
Tebow and the Broncos made it to the playoffs in a modified spread option offense.
RG3 and the Redskins made it to the playoffs at times using a modified pistol option offense (albiet when he wasn't injured).
Colin Keapernick (I know I butchered that spelling) and the 9ers made it to the Superbowl using an option offense.
Heck even the Panthers run it from time to time. The way it looks, the option isn't going to go away anytime soon in the NFL.
All that said, I've looked everywhere and i can't find an answer so....does anyone know if they have revamped the option in Madden or will it still be the exact same as last year? Running with it in NCAA has been a blast and I thought it might be fun for once to run with a mobile QB this year if so.
