Madden NFL 25 Blog - Shine as a Player in Connected Franchise

EA Sports has posted another Madden NFL 25 blog. This one talks about creating your player in Connected Franchise.

After selecting your backstory, new to Madden NFL 25, you can scroll through each organization to see how you’d stack up. You’ll see each NFL team’s current situation at your position, as well as your projected place on their depth chart. Do you want to challenge yourself and start low on the pecking order, or select a team that you to contribute from day one?

Also new to Madden NFL 25 is a new modifier to weekly and milestone goals that increases or decreases the amount of XP that you can earn based on the game’s significance. You’ll earn more XP for meeting goals in playoff games and less in preseason games. Also, the amount of XP earned from weekly goals, season goals, and milestone goals has been increased. While you’ll earn the most from milestone goals, meeting major season and career milestones will earn you more XP than in Madden NFL 13.

Not much really new. But I'll be playing owner mode most of the time so I'm okay with it.

44xp points away from being a Madden 13 blog post.

Sounds good, bringing back some features from Madden 12 (seeing how the player stacks up on every team.)

Man I look at career modes in the NBA2k and the show and wonder when madden will catch up.

This year they added interviews which is cool but I look at where 2k is with actually having your player sit at a podium with the media and sit down with GMs before you're drafted...and madden just leaves something to be desired.

2K and even EA's own NHL series has a team mate grade that affects how your teammates view you and has in impact gameplay wise. NHL also added things like GM and Family like ability. These things just make the mode seem so much deeper.

Madden career mode especially as a player seems like it just playing play now games week after week.

EA has mastered the skill of writing up a blog recycling an entire feature.

Barely anything different if you look past the GUI changes.

Any news on a camera only focused on your player? Or do we have to use the same camera as a regular game?
