Jury is still out regarding this latest Madden installment, I will have to play this demo a few more times.
I'm just wanted to see if assisted tackles are being recorded, in the one game I played none on both teams were, and I saw plenty of tackles with 2 or more players, I had the same problem with madden 13. So far if this is not address in the final product I will just play madden 12.

It feels exactly like 13, so I'll just wait for the nextgen version.

Re: Has your opinion of Madden 25 changed after the demo?

I was feeling, meh, on the demo before downloading it. I did like NCAA a lot, in spite of the few warts it has.

After playing the demo, I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the quicker intro to get into the game, I noticed the smarter CPU AI play calling, even using gameflow, the plays picked on offense or defense are what I would call.

The QB's are too accurate, like in NCAA.

Should be able to put together some good sliders to play the game. Had plenty of delay of games, and offsides called, but no holding calls.

Don't get me wrong, there are legacy issues still out there that are not fixed. Yes, EA, I'm talking about presentation, or the lack there of. How many yrs are we going on w/o a half time show? We gut one out, but don't replace it with a better one? Rodgers belt celebration after a TD pass? Wth? Commentary lines that are completely reversed? Customized cameras?

Went from pre-ordered, paid in full to canceling tomorrow. It just doesn't feel any different. I mean sure, the run blocking is improved but the overall feel of the game remains the same. I'll just wait for next gen.

To be honestly loved it. I'm an Xs & Os type of guy. So Madden is Madden to me.

This was the first year I didn't have over 100 games online though. I got tire of facing man D all game against San Fran. I like ths lead passing and the fact that zone runs worked just fine.

Overall I like M13.

Re: Has your opinion of Madden 25 changed after the demo?

As the demo was downloading & before that I felt like this game will just feel like a mix of Madden 13, NCAA 14, and some new presentation/menu layouts. After playing the demo I feel exactly the same. Nothing stood out. It felt bland. The invisible player glitch happened. Seeing Kap with no tattoos was not right. To add onto that he looked like pretty old under that helmet. Definitely did not look like him.

Only things that I thought that were nice about the game was the new intro with the team logos coming together. Also the quick little commentary from, I forget his name, before the coin toss was also something new but I think that would get old pretty quick.

I'm probably holding out until next-gen and saving my $65 for GTA V. NCAA (which hopefully gets a patch soon..) will hold my football needs until then (if) I get a PS4 and look at Madden 25 on it. Right now, I'm hoping and praying the NFL won't give their exclusivity to EA, which will allow some other developer take their shot at an NFL Football game instead of EA. I could see 2k, Sony, and/or Rockstar giving EA a run for it's money if they ever do a football game.

My opinion hasn't changed at all.

Same tired gameplay with minimal additions + $60 price tag is an easy pass for me.
