Madden 25 - Usering the Defensive End (video)

please move to proper forum if im wrong for posting here. didnt see a M25 video thread yet.

I know very few actually like to user the D line, but it can be very effective. Here is an example of Seahawks Clemons getting to the QB with various moves (swim, spin, blockshed, untouched), with a basic 4 man rush.

Nice video man, there were some nice, realistic DE moves there and O/D line interactions, those replays looked almost like the real thing and notice how almost every sack had a different celebration. The game isn't there yet, but this video alone proves that the game is improving and we are heading the right direction.

Were you usering Rodgers because he just didn't move or try to get rid of the ball. Would be nice to see in live situation.

yea, was using 2 controlelers. I just wanted to show how to trigger the animations etc, and how the interaction between the Dline and Oline worked mainly and that you could actually get 'pressure'.

Doing this vs the CPU, they seem to always get rid of the ball right before contact.. vs a opponent however, different story

i put it in the video description, however, right upon making contact with the Olineman, use the R Stick.. generally, moving the stick from 3 to 6 position willl get ya a inside move (spin, swim), and 9 to 6 for the outside. Some of it depends on the defensive ends ratings i believe (FMV, PMV) as far as what type of animation you will trigger. FMV guys will get the spin, swim etc and PMV guys will get the bull rush type stuff (i think).

mmm, 10/10? doubt that, but at the same time i dont think it should. It does require some timing on your part, so if ya able to master the timing every single time possible i guess

I do like a lot of those interactions... BearsFan, what difficulty and slider set is this? Also, do we get much of a pass rush if we DON'T user? I'll need to try it out myself and see what I get.

that was all pro, but i played all madden also and didnt notice a difference really.

i havent played the demo enough to tell ya if the cpu generated pressure is any good or not

hey bearsfan so we actually have to roll the right stick from 3 to 6? I guess I couldn't get it bc I was always just flicking it right of left.

wish every player didn't do a sack or td celebration. some guys just move on to the next play

yea, i had better success using that method. I agree with the celebrations, but this was just one guy (clemons), so maybe other players will not have it... who knows, no biggie

Wow. Will have to remember to do that. What is also nice to see is that he uses the left side of the field and is able to have success where in Madden 13 it was almost impossible. It would be cool to make another video using an olb like Clay Matthews and see the success rate of that.
