Im downloading the season ticket right now and im wondering if top players like marshawn lynch and arian foster got a face scan... Please dont tell me thats only for next gen

Neither of those 2 players did. I have only briefly looked at some players, and haven't noticed many new ones at all.

Good thing they wear helmets.

This is ridiculous like really. Geno smith gets a face scan but a probowler wont even get one lol

Its more likely that the guys that don't have one didn't go in to have one done. I doubt Tiberon was like we just are not scanning these players.

Players choose whether or not they want a face scan and I guess Arian and Marshawn didn't want 1. Does Eddie Lacy have a face scan or not?

EA said a couple of months ago that they scanned almost all of this years draft class and roughly 20 didn't make it in ( I guess they didn't want their face scanned)

Hopefully with the next-gen consoles this will be an afterthought and all faces will be included.

I'm not seeing many new face scans, the only 4 I have noticed are geno smith, Doug Martin, Capernick , and Russell Wilson.

Just found Ruben randle, I'm happily surprised with that one. But too many star players with generic faces.

I don't understand how EA says they scan players faces at pro bowls, if meanwhile Aldon Smith, J.J. Watt, Arian Foster, Charles Tillman, Tim Jennings, Von Miller, Julio Jones and other pro bowlers all have generic faces. And I thought EA said that almost every player from the 2012 draft class had gotten a face scan and about 20 didn't make it in. Either whoever wrote that article with the presentation details misunderstood what Mike Young said in that presentation podcast or EA is BSing us cuz it seems like only 20 players from the 2012 class got face scans. How is it that they need a full body scan of a player that they do at an NFL event but they somehow have the legends real faces in the game with their exact appearance from whatever time the legend was in his prime? What did EA go back in time and give the player a full body scan or what? Sounds like a load of BS to me. EA should use the kind of system that
2k uses to get players face scans but of course not, EA's technology is light years behind 2k. And they still couldn't get Arian Foster, Stevie Johnson, Marshawn Lynch or Charles Tillman's face scans in the game. Foster has been a pro bowler for like the last 4 seasons and so has Tillman. And I also don't get how it seems like every year EA can only get the rookie QB's face scans in and not any other players that play other positions. It's all pure LAZINESS on EA's part. It's the same reason why EA hasn't updated the player portraits since madden 11 and Stevie Johnson still has his dreadlocks portrait even though he cut his dreads off 4 years ago. Oh well, maybe next gen EA will do a better job with the player face scans and portraits. One could only hope

Someone associated with Madden made the claim that nearly all but about 20 from either this draft class or last (can't remember which) were face scanned. I've pulled up 20 players from each class that I know weren't scanned in 13 and both classes are 0 for 20. Odds are that claim was total BS.

It seems like only 20 players from the entire 2012 draft class got their face scanned. Only 3 rookie QB's got a face scan from the 2013 draft class I believe. Either that claim was total BS or whoever wrote the article misunderstood what Mike Young said in that presentation podcast

That quote is total BS
