Teams relocating?

Week 1 of my CF ( owner ), Oakland relocated to Toronto.......

Anyone else witness any weirdness?

Turn the relocation off if it bothers you. It's a new feature in the game this year, and it seems they over did it. I have it turned off personally

Didn't know you could turn it off.....Thank you......Wasn't complaining, just felt bad for Mr. Davis......

Haha yeah the Rams moved to London week 1 of my season. I was like WTF is this? lol

In CFM settings can you set relocation so only user controlled teams can relocate? This would stop St. Louis moving to London etc. in week 1 right?

Can you turn relocation on/off during your franchise, so that you can relocate your team but other teams cannot?

Sucks if the only option to relocate is to allow other teams to relocate too.

I simmed 3 season just for the hell of it.... Rams moved year 1.... Jags/raiders moved in yr 2 and buffalo moved in yr 3...

That's just plain stupid.... I turned it off and that's where it will stay.

Way overdone.

I didn't see any but I did move 2 myself so maybe that's why.

Yes you can change it during your season i.e. if you want to just relocate your team, then go change it real quick, then turn it back off once you're done

I kind of like it.

Year 2 of a simmed CFM, St. Louis moved to Austin and changed their name to the Capitals.

Year 3, Atlanta moved out of the Georgia Dome into a new stadium. I wouldnt have noticed had I not started playing the game and there was a 9 mph wind, I thought...wind in a dome?

Kind of neat imo.

Some will like it some wont... I'm actually thinking about turning it off for the first year or two, and then letting it fly after that... Get a couple of years of real sim realism then let the fun begin.

It will get out of control. I had the patriots move to Ireland and Brady retired. This was year 3 of my CF.

I was trying to relocate the bucs but every year I wasnt eligible so in the mean time while I had the feature turned on 4 teams relocated.

I liked it at first, till both the Rams and Raiders moved back to LA in the same season

I think I'll turn it on, move Jville to Dublin then turn it off
