    Position changes

    Why has the position change feature been taken off the connected franchise mode (offline in particular)?

    I can't move a LOLB to MLB... only to ROLB.

    Nor can I move a LB to DE

    Why? These things happen all the time in the NFL.

      The worst part is that the CPU apparently has the ability to do it. I have seen one of the news feeds pop up as one player being moved to better fit a new scheme or something like that.

          Why? These things happen all the time in the NFL.
          you can change positions, you have to wait till the offseason. Particularly after the draft, u can change draftee positions as well...

                  Yep, edit the player on the roster screen in the offseason, it's still a bit restricted (you can't move SS's to DE's or OLB's etc.) but it does open up a BIT more in the offseason.

                          It does work in the off season but the rating adjustments are terrible.

                          I run a 3-4 and drafted a cover 2 OLB thinking I could move him to ILB. When I moved him his tackling rating dropped 20 points.

                          Why I have no idea. But he was an 80 ovr outside, then a 60 something inside
