Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)
There was a thread about this last year that I really enjoyed. However, I'm using imported rosters for the first couple of seasons on Madden 25 so I haven't been able to see them yet. For those of you who aren't, share the most interesting storyline in your draft class!Tags: None -
Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)
SpoilerIn my first draft, I came across a couple of interesting guys:
Pop Warren (36 year old QB that was a backup at TCU but has a cult following pretty much on par with Tim Tebow; incredible skill level, but obviously he'll have to retire after a year or two pretty much)
Leon Sandcastle (didn't play much in college but blew up at the combine and went from being a projected undrafted rookie to being a 2nd round pick; and he's actually Deion Sanders, wears the bandana, has Deion's picture and everything)
There was a WR from Canada, and a kicker that was compared to Rudy (as in the Notre Dame guy) that became the QB for his team after the starter was hurt. He remains a kicker in the draft, but has QB skills as well.
Dante Grimm (racked up like 8 sacks in the first 3 games of the college season, but got hurt and only had 0.5 sacks the rest of the year; he has an incredible finesse move rating though).

I found Pop Warren, too. Didn't draft him. I don't think it was worth it.Comment

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)
SpoilerYeah... I didn't notice him until after the regular season when the "Combine" occurs and all of a sudden he just blew up. Reminds me of seeing people like Patrick Chewing from a couple years back lol.
I honestly don't mind it all that much anyways. They've always based some players off of real-life counterparts anyways. It's cool to see him roaming the sidelines in his bandana, and he even wears a baggier jersey like teams wore back in the 90's rather than the skin-tight jerseys they all wear today.NFL: Bills

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)
I have no idea. I know that the Vikings changed one of their DTs to a DE in the off-season since they switched to a 3-4. I don't know what else you can change or when you can change them. It doesn't tell you "THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE A PLAYER'S POSITION". It just passes by at some point in the off-season I think.NFL: Bills

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)
SpoilerI came across a 7'4", 265lbs. TE.. I didn't scout him, I saw him there and couldn't pass it up. I was thinking it was a glitch at first but I played a preseason game and man.. he was HUGE.
Dumb as a sack of rocks but his mass really helped plug holes when I tried to bounce off the edge with DMC.
Also, there's a CB that resembles Janoris Jenkins- to the point of looking like a complete star and then getting kicked off the team. Ricky Goldwire is his name. He was supposedly lighting it up in college but 'broke team conduct' and was removed from the team.Comment

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)
MLB Wolverine Justice, plays like Ray Lewis. Wins the Heisman and is a stud from day one. zIn that class their's a QB who had to choose between baseball or the NFL, but the stud QB is a non-storyline player who is a mid-80 rated rookie with 94 THP, 88 speed and great accuracy ratings. He's also a 98 personality (so he sells jerseys) and Star development.
Speaking of accuracy, they added just plain "accuracy" to the ratings. How does that work with TAS, TAM, and TAD???Spike DietComment

Re: Storyline Draft Classes (Spoilers)
SpoilerMine were pretty simple my first season:
A mobile QB from Oregon that threw three 60+ yard TDs in the Rose Bowl.
A playmaking but injury prone FS from UGA who had a PR TD to help them win the NC.
A strong, athletic DT from Miami with tons of skill but no work ethic.NBA 2K17 SimWorld MyLEAGUE: So Much Drama in the DMV - A Baltimore Bullets Expansion MyLEAGUE
