Re: did yo relocate your team?

I'm big into the realism of the game, so I have to admit, I really don't play the games, I simulate them. But I love being the owner (I actually studied sports business in college). The one that I really have enjoyed (I mentioned this kind of in the bugs thread) is moving the Jaguars to Chicago. To me, Chicago would be a natural fit for a second NFL franchise (an AFC franchise at least). I kept the name (hey, how many BEARS are in Chicago? You can probably find more Jaguars on the street).

Like it was said earlier, yeah, the commentary is a bit "off". I wanted to see if the announcers would say anything about it being the Battle of Chicago in a Bears/Jaguars game, so I looked in at the opening. Like the "Touchdown Oakland Raiders!" for LA, Jim called them the Jacksonville Jaguars. Incidentally, I looked in on the first home game for the Chicago Jags, and he did mention "A historic day in Chicago, IL, now home, to a SECOND NFL franchise!".

I also moved the Rams and Chargers to LA, Bills to Brooklyn. Kept the names for Rams and Chargers, changed the Bills to the Dodgers (Brooklyn Bills makes no sense whatsoever).

I gutted the Steelers of all the aging players, and I'm moving them to Brooklyn to bring back the Dodgers. I'm in the first offseason now.

What's funny is I did this exact thing and same thing happened to me. BUT, for me it's worse annoyed the heck out of me to hear announcer say this,"so the bears moved out of chicago, shame on them for doing this?"

Re: did yo relocate your team?

As the Dolphins, no. But has anyone else have the Oakland Raiders relocate to Austin, Texas to become the Austin Armadillos? Now in the start of the 2nd season the Jaguars are moving to LA... not sure what to think about it.

Re: did yo relocate your team?

In my first home game as the Brooklyn Dodgers, the announcers held the same conversation about having football in Brooklyn three times. That was slightly irritating.

In the first season, the Raiders moved back to LA. I'm just starting the second season, and I forget which, but one team is moving to Dublin. Several teams rebuilt their stadiums.

Does it rain every home game for anybody else who has relocated?

My first two games in Brooklyn didn't have any rain.

The most real would be LA, Portland, Columbus, Sacramento and Toronto.

LA, Toronto are HUGE, like top 10 cities in North America and could fill a 80K stadium every week. COlumbs is up and coming, got a NHL team and I think could support an NFL team. Sacramento again good market, and could start some good rivalries.

The least real would be Dublin, Houston, Memphis, Brooklyn and Mexico City.

Houston, Memphis, Brooklyn could not support two teams, in some cases THREE. Dublin... really? They would all be wearing Soccer jersies. Mexico City... the only reason why it is not a "1" is it is the biggest city in North America... there would have to be 80,000 out of 25 million to go see a game. Even if it was 110 degrees.
Sacramento shouldn't even be an option. It's far too small a market for the NFL, and has trouble supporting one pro franchise as it is. Not sure how you rank that as more realistic than Brooklyn.
