The Development Trait
In my CCM I was shocked to see that Dion Jordan has normal development when I expected it to be fast or superstar. Do all non drafted player start off at normal or what?Tags: None -

It appears they did not really mess with the dev trait at all for these first rosters.
Most of the players from last year are identical in this respect, and the newly drafted players are basically all normal dev.Comment

Re: The Development Trait
If you do a fantasy draft and pause it in round one you can scroll all the way to the right of the players stats and see a development stat. Rates 0 to 3 0 being slow 3 a superstar. The only rookies i've noticed that are superstars are matt barkley, but he has 84 thp, and marcus lattimore, but he has like a 60 injury. I've simed a couple leagues tho and noticed that all rookies get hella exp with out being anything above normal.Comment

Re: The Development Trait
I use the Raiders and noticed only one player with a fast/quick dev rating on the default roster, Danarius Moore. Last season there was a list onthis forum of players who already had super star and quick development. They are out there.Comment

Normal is right for Jordan until proven otherwise. He's not a sure thing - heck you could make a case for him having "slow."
This is coming from a die hard Oregon fan who's born and raised in Eugene, OR and has watched Dion Jordan since he came in as a TE and was converted to DE/OLB.
One person I was shocked that had "slow" is Bruce Carter on Dallas.Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira - UFC Hall of FameComment

Re: The Development Trait
A lot of young players have "normal" development ratings so they don't all become superstars. Young players can still gain loads of EXP and become highly rated even if they have "normal" development.
In Jordan's case, he already has superb ratings, and is still on track to become a superstar player once he gains EXP.Comment
