EA is cut scene crazy with Madden 25, and frankly they just can't seem to implement it correctly.

Replays are better than in year's past, but how about tv style replays with Sims marking the route on screen? Or better yet, showing the entire play?

How many times do I have to see the head coach talking to the same two players on the sidelines. Did they just come off the field or are they going on the field? Definite overkill.

STOP with the Gatorade cut scene!!!! Ok, maybe once a game, but seriously I saw this same cut scene 3 times in a row after a 2 minute drive with timeouts. You are killing the immersion EA.

TD celebrations are cool, but where are the other players? It's as if the entire team ran off the field, and the player is all alone. EA, it's time for real time celebrations!

At the very least, allow us an option to turn off cut scenes please, or one in which we can choose from "frequent or rarely".

I agree with the same cut scenes...


far as td celebrations .... i've seen some team ones and players left alone it seems when I see the team ones its when I make a td pass if its a running td its always the rb celebrating by himself.

I just wish they would change up the td celebrating dances tired of seeing the same td dance done by my rb every time he scores.

they should do like on the ps2 and atleast give u a different option by hitting triangle,square,circle,x.

I agree completely with the topic creator. The TD celebrations are the first to be changed as only 1-2 players congratulate the player after a TD. As for the in-between cut scenes during plays, they've become exhausting and tedious to look at. It really ruins the overall gameplay experience.

Ive been tired of Madden and there cut scenes for years all I need is a turn off feature, but of course in true ea fashion we must be force fed with anything new they add to the game.

And the fact that people are tired of these cut scenes and the game hasnt been out for a week shows that MAdden were lazy on this presentation side of the game, I mean something simple as showing these same cut scenes but at different camera angles would at least give us a feel that we arent seeing the samething over and over again.

They can only have so many assets on the screen during those cut's or else they would have to degrade the texture quality.

Next Gen will resolve this.

Or get rid of dances...unless the player is that style. Most people to a chest bump or helmet smack as they run off the field...not everyone in the nfl is a celebrating idiot.

IF you really want real time, realistic celebration or emotion, then you probably have to wait for next gen. I know that nhl is doing it on this gen with NHL 14 but whatever is done in Madden going forward on this gen is going to be just an abbreviated version of what we are going to get on Next Gen.

Madden 09 had:
-real time celebrations
-a replay window box so you could see last play while calling your next play
-a "breakdown" feature where the announcers "drew" on the screen to breakdown what went wrong/right on last play
-NFL Films Music
-Customized music for menus and replays
-Jumbotron presentation cut scenes
-X-ray presentation analysis of injuries
-Halftime/endgame Top 5 plays of the game (which were actually the 5 best plays)
-special introduction to each game from J. Madden

Real time TD celebrations would go a long way to making the game feel more connected and seamless. As it stands, it feels very disjointed. Gameplay replays rarely provide a clear cut view of how the play developed.

Quick cut aways between plays of the coach and players on the sidelines with an infinite amount of variety would provide a great deal of immersion. When there is a time out, let's see the QB walking over to talk to the head coach, with the back up QB standing next to him.....not watching the QB get his umpteenth drink of Gatorade. That is just one example. During the course of a real football game, there are a number of different camera cut aways that really add to the authenticity of watching a game. Hopefully, EA will make this more of a priority for next gen.

I swear Madden is the laziest team out of all the the sports games at EA. They pride themselves on taking shortcuts and cutting corners. Exactly the opposite philosophy of other sports games.

With the new hardware, I expect all sports games to remove cutscenes in favor of real-time presentation. Why Tiburon has been so reluctant to remove them from NCAA and Madden is anyone's guess. They look extremely dated and repeat far too often. It even looks strange and inconsistent compared to EA Canada's focus on RTP in NHL and FIFA.

RTP may have its flaws, as seen in NHL 13. However, to its credit, real-time presentation flows a lot better and the action between plays is often more organic and lifelike than pre-loaded cutscenes.

Think of it as a crewmember using a switcher during a broadcast instead of an editor splicing scenes together in post-production. While the latter may work in some cases, it's eventually going to get noticeable if your audience watches --- or plays, in the case of video games --- enough of it. That, and RTP greatly enhances the believability of what's being presented.

Real time celebrations were in Madden 12. In Madden 09 you could choose your own celebration! It looked silly with the blue boxes, and online people liked to run around in circles like morons, but you could.

Their instant replays are horrible and doesn't represent true broadcast at all.
