What is the best quarter length and do use acc clock?

I've seen some say to go with acc clock at 10, I say that is crazy, and leads to penalties by the cpu that are unnecessary. make it 12 or 13. minutes? make that 11 or 12 depending on if you run a no huddle or not

I get 60 plays, they get 60 plays, its a beautiful thing. I play normal speed as the cpu can't put up a fight on slow.

Accelerated clock to 15 seconds and then play 12 or 13 minutes. If you pass a lot, then go for 12.

7 minutes w/ no runoff. Games can play as fast or as slow as you want them to.

Runoff to 18 seconds 15 minute quarters works well for me. I think 12-15 minute quarters ismthe sweet spot for most. All depends on your style of,play.

I also switched to normal vs the cpu. I find the cpu plays far better at normal. You give up so e organic animations...but i am getting a much better overall game on normal.

15 min with 12 sec clock, rarely use no huddle. If I'm up by 2+ possessions I'll supersim defense and sometimes offense.

11 minute quarters and 15 second clock seems to work well for me.

I use 15,12,or 10 depending on how much time I have. 12-18 second clock runoff.

I use 8 minute quarters and was just curious what the ppl who use 12 or higher minutes scores were??? im avging in the 20-30's for me points wise and cmp is around 15-20 points a game???

all games I've played have actually been close just when a turnover happen's seems to seprate me from the cmp.

How long does it generally take in real time to play a game with everyone's different quarter lengths and run offs? I have always played 5 minute quarters with no run off and it usually takes me around 35-40 minutes to finish a game. I'd like for me and the cpu to get more plays, but I don't want each game to take forever.

2 back-to-back games at 13 min and 17 sec. Runoff:

41-38 win over Seahawks (one of the greatest games I've ever played... Down 31-15 to start the 4th)

20-13 over the Steelers...

If you play with the right sliders, you can get some crazy variety and realistic punting and stops... It gives you the time for that to happen.

I'm going 10 minutes with runoff at 25 seconds. I don't know, it just feels right to me.

12/20 and 15/18 are both good as well, IMHO.

I haven't touched any of the sliders and play on All-Pro in all my Madden 25 CFM's.

I started with 5 minute quarters (no accelerated clock / no minimum play time) and stuck with that, as I tend to run a lot of no huddle. I can usually put up around 50 points per game by mostly running the ball (Power Run team).

If I pass the ball as well, I can put up 70 points in a game on 5-minute quarters.

On a different franchise, I tried 7 minute quarters and was consistently scoring 50-70 points mostly just running the ball (All-Pro). I traded for a great TE, and then decided to mix in more passing, and I put up 100 points.

At least on All-Pro, I can't see much of a reason to do anything but 5-minute quarters. You'd blow out your opponent to the tune of 100-200+ points on 10-15 minute quarters.

If you find a good set of sliders, where the opponent actually gives you a reasonable run for your money, then maybe try 7 or 10 minute quarters?

It should be based off plays run, not points scored.

Well on default all madden every other play is a 20-40 yrd gain so its tough to watch 120 plays.
