    Imported draft class new finding

So it has came to my attention that online imported draft classes have been coming out terrible the past week.its plaguing my online league as we speak.. So I did some studies an I believe ea has came out with a tuner online that has screwed up imported draft classes..

    Offline jake Matthews
    A strength B pass block B run block A impact B awareness

    Online jake Matthews
    A strength B pass block B run block C impact C awareness

Same draft class same projection... And online every top player is as terrible as that.. The best player in te class would be lucky to be a 75 overal.. Offline the best player is prolly 85 overall... What in the world did ea do?!

Agreed. I ended up closing my solo online and going back to offline because of that.

Re: Imported draft class new finding

I put together 30 draft classes or so.

I just did a simmed online CFM where I imported each class, none of these were back to back, no overlap, etc.

By the time everyone is basically retired(retirements are WAAAY too early this year, it actually bothers me and costs a lot of people HoF bids, coming back doesn't make up for it imo, it is just annoying because they just pop up) the top WR's in football are all under 80.

what people don't know, is that the simulation in pass stats, is going off your wr's, not the qb in terms of yardage. I had a 99 overall qb who was killing it, we had good progression from imported players everywhere except one class that had 0 production for everyone, and at a few select positions, WR being the most obvious one, HB is pretty bad too. and that 99 QB had about 2200 yards using 72-76 rated WR's. when he had two 88 WR's, and the rest garbage, he was at about 3300. he had a nice TD/INT ratio though!

there are SERIOUS issues with imported classes, so basically my advice is to not ONLY use imported classes, you just can't get without playing the games yourself on every team, progression at certain positions because they are now coming in so darn low

my highest WR was a 72, in any scheme, in my last draft. that is just awful.

its almost as if it is displaying the overall incorrectly. because they progress at the speed of light despite most having normal development(why even get STAR this year anyway....I took TJ Mcdonald in pure sim to a 99 without moving his dev rating)

so i keep hearing peps crying about the imported classes( i also hear peps cry bout the normal madden ones too) . here is what i am wanting to know. who has run thru NUMEROUS( not just one ) imported classes, and give some attributes that shows how bad ALL the classes suck. i mean , ive heard no one has any speed in them .... they have low overalls. etc. how bout giving some facts , on more than just one or two classes, sometimes some classes in real life dont have alot to be excited about. i want to know from someone who has done 5 -10 classes. and be honest in ur rating of the strength of the classes. Also another thing, i dont just wanna hear about low overalls. how do the players actually play in madden? thats what im most interested in, do they all suck and u make them back ups or cut them all, or are they worth starting and they play well , and u can xp them up and turn them into something really nice in a season or two.... anyone can give this type of report would be great! and much appreciated.
          Yup, i said it !

Re: Imported draft class new finding

I have done about 7 classes. I see plenty of WRs RBs and CBs in every draft with speed in the 90's, so I don't know why people complain about that. I have drafted players in the low rounds who I end up starting because they have good ratings on attributes that is important to their position. Most of them play good.
Scouting is very important though. I scouted Mlb who was projected to go undrafted. He had surprisingly good ratings for a player that's not even projected to be drafted. So I drafted him in the 7th round planning to develop him and start him in 2 or 3 seasons. Well his overall was 84!! My starting veteran was a 82 so I started the rookie.

My imported draft classes are kinda like in real life. Different positions are deep from year to year. One year the DL positions are deep, another the DBs. Its a lot of fun, but scouting is a must. Even players that are projected as undrafted

It's not speed that's the problem.. It's all their position skills.. They have done something to the classes that make them terrible.. U can go check for yourself.. Start an online franchise not offline and load up all your classes see how terrible they are.

Re: Imported draft class new finding

One major problem with imports is that all CBs are 3rd round or lower for me...
This only affects drafting, as Bradley Roby is in the mid-70s for me and an 82 in-game. It's just odd not seeing any CBs projected to go until the 3rd round and none drafted until the late 2nd at the earliest.

This is using some posted Draft Class rosters, though.

The biggest problem, though, is the 0 Toughness glitch. It happens class-wide, leaving the league filled with injury-prone rookies (or rookies that can't really recover... I had a wr listed initially as a 2wk injury stay on the report for 5 weeks... Don't know why). This doesn't happen every time, so it just takes some saving and reloading, which is not available to online guys.

Re: Imported draft class new finding

Oddly enough, the rookies CBs that aren't good enough to get drafted, but are swept up as soon as the preseason starts from the FA pool.

Madden just seems to screw up the projections or value on CBs, as the lowest CBs are in the mid-60s, most are in the 70-74 range, and 3 guys are ranked 78 or higher by now. And with development this year and practices, that 78 will probably be around an 85 by the end of the year.

Re: Imported draft class new finding

Every time you load the draft class it randomizes the attributes within certain ranges.

For example: online test CFM to see how my draft class would look and Teddy B has 82 THP in the 1st import. I import the same draft class in the 2nd season and Teddy B has 91 THP.

It is just a roll of the dice to a certain extent.

Agree there but since about a week or so ago the draft classes got raped.. The best player in the class is around 75 overall no impact players in them.. Offline u load them and they are 85-88 range for the best players... No one is understanding that ea ****ed with the way classes import online..

Why are the players too high of overall for imported classes?
When I scout late round prospects, for a CB they'll have "A?" or "B?" coverage ratings.
Those are way to high for a late round prospect... how do I change that.
