Progression Inquiry.

Good evening all. Curious to know if someone can help me out with quick question.

I just started my first CFM. CPU progression is set to end of season. So, I'm figuring that it means any XP gained will not be spent by the CPU until the end of season but its looking like I still have the ability to spend XP on players at any time. I dont want to cheat the CPU by spending XP during season while they can't.

So, If I just leave the XP alone, the CPU will take care of the spending for me at the end of the season along with the rest of the teams correct? Thanks.

The CPU will not auto progress your players. You can highlight each player yourself and click auto progress and the CPU will spend all the XP for you but I'm not sure that that would be wise.

Yeah, Rolltide's got it right. Having the CPU auto-progress for you might turn out bad. I've never done it, but I've heard of the game making head-scratching decisions for you.

This is ridiculous, who's got time to do all this? Plus we gottta scout. These seasons are going to take forever. The only way to save time is to skip the actual games?

The cpu will never progress your players unless you click on auto progress. The end of the season applies only to non human controlled teams. You can still progress anytime. Don't know why they did this.

Ain't that the truth. I only play two games a season and sim the playoff's. Lost the super bowl three years in a row. Don't have time to practice so i lose all that xp. Sucks, should be able to sim practice. Non starters are hard to improve without it. Got three kids and a nagging wife so time is hard to come by.

You play the game to get away from the nagging wife
