Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
if i want to drop the passing icons and take off running with my qb. or pick a passing play out of the shot gun and make it a qb draw how do it do that?
I think what he's asking is - the buttons that are used to throw to a receiver are used in "running the ball". So how to make those buttons toggle to running skills
Pressing R2 (on PS3) allows you to start running more effectively and stops the QB animation of looking downfield still (that also makes him slower). Once the QB passes the line of scrimmage - the buttons will revert to running skills (spin, stiff-arm etc).

@BT - it could be his brother's or dad's account.
Not entirely true. QB has to be around 5 yds past LOS before he can juke, spin, etc.
Just run? There is nothing keeping you in the backfield.
You've been a member since 2002 but you make tons of new topics like you've never played Madden before.
No need for this.
Length of time on the site has nothing do do with playing Madden. Have you looked around? This site has a lot of forums.
And it was a legitimate question. You don't want to "just run" as you sarcastically put it because the QB will hold his animation and won't be moving very fast.
There should be an option to click L3 or something to get rid of the passing buttons behind the LS. So many times if i could have juked with a QB i would have busted a long run.

Totally agree. Russell does this all the time IRL. Spin backside and run or throw.

Just because he's been a member of Operation Sports doesn't mean he has played Madden. There are other sports games besides Madden, if you weren't aware.

Boy is that true. If there ever was a QB that played like Mike Vick in Madden 04, it's Russell Wilson. Lol some of his ridiculous prayer throws after immediately turning around 15 yards behind the line of scrimmage...

You don't "have" to answer anything at all, ever.So if a question has been asked and answered before, you are under no obligation to answer it again. If it bothers you that much that god forbid someone wasn't on the forum's previously to see it asked before, you are fine to just walk away and ignore it.If you want to take your ball and go home, have at it. I for one like seeing users help other users.

Easy now!
I just find it weird the same guy created the exact same thread less than a month ago and got his answers there. Only reason I remembered it was because I was one of the guys answering in his first thread.
