Ive seen several articles for owner mode for Madden 25. After my first offseason, after all the players scouted, I wasn't even able to draft my own players. Is there a way to avoid cpu controlled drafts?

Do you have your team, or any other used controlled teams on auto pilot? If by chance you do just turn off the auto pilot on all teams you controll, and it will let you draft. If its not that then I don't know. -

That may help. I have my team as a owner, then I have two other players in the same CC on auto-pilot. That could definitely be it even though the owner isnt on auto. Ill try it out though.Comment

I had this exact same problem just last weekend. I was going nuts trying to figure out why the draft was being simulated.
On the third try on a whim I thought perhaps it was due to having other player controlled owners toggled to be on auto-pilot. I turned that off, and viola! I was able to do my draft.
