Favorite Player to Develop
Who is your favorite player to develop in Madden 25? So far mine has been Armanti Edwards. Steve Smith retired in my CFM after year one so Edwards has been my go to guy. He just finished a game with 8 catches for 136 yards and 2 TDs. He can be a beast some games but then in the next game he will play terrible. Hopefully I develop him into being more consistent.Madden 25 - Steelers

Re: Favorite Player to Develop
I just drafted Shady Monroe and find myself taking a special interest in making sure he gets his catches and reps. -

Stephen Hill The guy is Calvin Johnson Jr. Jr. with rock hands. If you develop his catching, unstoppable. You Look Good, You Feel Good. You Feel Good, You Play Good. You Play Good, They Pay Good. - Deion Sanders

CB Onterio McCalebb. Physical freak, former HB/WR at Auburn, rookie that starts out at 58 OVR, and is now about 84 OVR through early year 2.Comment

Knile Davis for me. He started at 66, I believe, and is now 79 OVR three games into my second season. I got his juke and trucking up to a 90 and his speed was already 94. Does awesome on screen plays and outside running. He'll soon be my starting RB after Leveon Bell wants a huge contract

Re: Favorite Player to Develop
I really enjoyed developing Brock Osweiller into a franchise QB. Acquired for my Browns for a 5th round pick and he's up to 86 OVR from 78 in one year. He was the league MVP and I now have 90k xp to spend on him so he should be above 90 after I decide which attributes to boost.
As a side note i'm considering a project of converting a freakish athlete into a QB. Lane Johnson played QB in high school and has 70 THP. 310lb QB draw? He might be to expensive to acquire but I already have DE Margus Hunt - 6-8, 270+ lb, 85 SPD, 70 THP. May wait until his contract year and convert him then. I'm assuming his OVR will nosedive and i'd be able to lock him into a long term deal playing for peanuts? Haven't tried this yet so interested to see if that works.Comment

Re: Favorite Player to Develop
Just starting my third season and traded up for the 14th overall to grab Eli Watson because Tom Brady retired after he won his fourth superbowl last year. He came in rated an 82, looking forward to seeing how he progresses. Also grabbed Tevita Casper with the 32nd pick and wow! He's incredible, looking forward to see how he comes along too.Comment

Later in that draft, sixth, I nabbed Uszakiewicz and am slowly doing to the same to him. The following year, third round, I got Joren Nielson and did the same thing.
All three players are good tackling CBs, who don't have great ACC but will become a real force within three years. I like drafting players who fit my scheme perfectly, so they're all Balanced CBs who play in 3-4s. Makes drafting and developing more challenging.Comment
