Roster Update

So I just got Madden 25 from gamefly and it's unplayable for me. I had deleted all previous data to try and download the 8 gb download for GTA V. When I got it yesterday I tried to download the latest EA rosters. Turns out you need xbox live gold to do this. Totally stupid because in NCAA I downloaded rosters with no gold. So right now I'm in a connected career with the Seahawks and am playing with the default rosters. Anyone know how to download some form of updated rosters without XBOX live Gold?

I think, and I emphasize the think part, that you can get custom rosters through a flash drive. I don't think you need Gold to do that.

Unfortunately, you're gonna have to ask someone else on how to do that exactly.

Why don't you have XBL gold? With all the benefits, including 2 free full games a month (right now it's Dead Island), there is no reason to not have gold.

I don't play online enough to pay for it. I kinda wish I had it now though because of this and I really feel like going back to ultimate team. But I just think it's stupid because I need it for this just to access features while on NCAA I can do anything except play online. Oh, and I just figured out trading is really ****ing stupid in this because I just offered 90 ovr Winfield and 87 ovr Browner for 72 ovr Tyrann Mathieu and they said they need more value!

That means trading is good. Cardinals value Matthieu higher because of what he brings to the table. Most teams won't trade away their rookies. It's not about OVR anymore, it's about specific abilities.

Also I don't play games online but the added benefits and video and movie streaming makes the purchase worth it. Just go buy XBL gold.

I just recently updated rosters, it would not let me update in roster management screen or in any other but rather on main menu on first screen ... it showed graphic to download current rosters from there .... this was on xbox 360 and without any paid subscriptions

this was just last thursday (1/30) ... this was on the first screen on main menu (was on the bottom right hand box) ... u could scroll thru that specific box(menu) and one of them was the option of downloading current rosters ... this was the only screen it would allow me to do it from

The roster czar Donny_Moore Twitter page is gone!!! I hope he remembers to update the rosters to reflect the post Super Bowl ratings & hoping they remove the I.R. From a players.... No info on the PDF or if it's Friday for sure.
