    Franchise Strategy

This is my first new Madden in 3-4 years and franchise mode is much different.

What is the best way to attack scouting and progression? Any good tips to follow?

Also, is there no longer a way to view potential?

The scouting I find works better if you save your scouting points until the end of the season. Let it build up and then before the draft at the end of the season you spend all of your points. That way you know what type of players you need to scout.

As for progressing players I set mine to weekly. I practice every week and use those points for different players based on what they need to work on. Sometimes I let the points build for a few weeks but I want my players constantly getting better whether it's awareness or otherwise.

That's my strategy which has worked for me. I have alot of young players that are developing very nicely.

Starting with Madden 13, they got rid of the potential attribute. Now players actually progress completely based on their performance with experience points, and you choose how those points are spent. Their is no "fixed" overall that a player can't get above anymore. In essence, every player has unlimited potential. The only difference is some will develop faster if they have the higher development traits
