Need Live Gold For Game Updates?

Hey everybody I'm downloading M15 for 360 at the moment, my live gold has expired, don't feel like paying just as much as I did for the game just to use my own internet.

I know there are roster updates posted here that can be transferred with a USB.

But do you need a live gold account for the updates to the actual game itself? (Not the roster updates.)

Well I don't know if it downloads updates to the actual game but it does let me download the roster, I'll post it once I get a chance to play the game for a bit if no one has

I have the downloaded version as well and I was prompted to download an update when I started the game.

Interesting, I was prompted to download a roster update but not a game update (played it once so far).

Perhaps because I just downloaded it right now it is already the "latest" version and already patched.

Hopefully you don't need a gold account to get updates to the game itself, damn penny pinchers at microsoft
