3 minutes? Really?

Why have 3 minute quarters? That's like two drives per half if there aren't any turnovers. Will the time increase as I progress my MUT ranking?

it's ridiculous. I just played a guy who had chew clock on from the first snap of the game just running the clock out. this is exactly what happened in NCAA 14, people just abuse the chew clock and short quarters so it's like a 2 possession game.

The answer is no, not on season games. On some of the solo challenges you will get up to 4 or 5 minutes, but no in season games.

I don't understand why 5 min quarters aren't used, major turn off to their "fastest growing game made in madden"

I'm happy with 3 minute quarters for the solo challenges; the quicker I can win and get my coins, the better. However, it is way too short for H2H matches!! I haven't played one yet (still developing my team) so I'm disappointed to find out they'll be just as fast as the solo challenges.

I think in the Rookie season it's 3 mins. But then as you get promoted in Seasons it moves up to 4mins, 5mins. I may be wrong but that would make sense.

going for it on 4th down with 3 minutes quarter is NO cheese, is perfectly normal, every NFL team would do the same. Why giving the ball back if you've basically no chance to regain it ?

For H2H 3 minutes is too little time. It can sometimes be too little time for the solo challenges too, but that can be circumvented by playing w/ the accel clock off.
