NCAA 2020 Roster Spreadsheet

While we are not sure if roster sharing is available yet for the PS4 version of the game, I went ahead and created roster templates for all 130 teams on the below google spreadsheet:

So while roster sharing isn't confirmed, we could still use the spreadsheet as a road map to create NCAA rosters within the game. If you want to work on any part of the roster spreadsheet, click on the link above and hit "Request Access". This is pretty much completely open to the community, so hopefully we can get this knocked out before the game is released in September

If you have any suggestions about how to improve the template, please let me know.



Edit: I noticed some teams are going over the 68 player maximum. Please try to choose the 68 best players on the team since the rosters for each team in the game are capped at 68.

From my understanding, there will not be online sharing; however, edits can be shared through a physical thumb drive on PS4.

BTW, Aggie, thanks for access to your spreadsheet design. I may not have the expertise to aid you in your NCAA efforts, but you certainly helped me with a template for my goal to create a CFL Legends Sim League.

Files are tied to the user.

Correct. USB roster sharing won’t be available besides sharing with family or friends who want to share login credentials.

There are ways you can get around that, but it costs money and some other things not to be discussed here. Also, it would never work for the masses so won’t be any roster sharing unless they add it in via game.

So explain this to me like a six grader lol. If I was to buy your game and took the time to customize and edit the teams and conferences to model after the real teams, I can't save it on a USB drive and give it to someone?

Right. The files are tied to the PS user.

If xxxBlazeIt420xxx makes a roster file...he can't put it on a flash drive and give it to fortniteman69 for them to use. It's just how the PS4 handles files.

Does the Xbox one handle files the same way too? I have all systems If it will work on the Xbox that will be a reason to buy it on that instead.

I did some research. The xbox one is the same way as ps4. All save data is not transferable between accounts. Hopefully the future version will have some type of team sharing feature.

I will be buying this year's game after reading all of spears posts tho.

I won't be around my PS4 for couple more days so won't be able to try till then. But would it be possible for fortniteman69 to use xxxBlazeIt420xxx file if he has xxxBlazeIt420xxx account also on his ps4 since you can have multiple users? I'm assuming not but what I was thinking if it was possible to open it that way and then fortniteman69 save it to his account and no longer need xxxBlazeIt420xxx account.

IF that is possible someone could create a community username to share the files back and forth without giving out their own real account.

If that is not possible my next question is how many systems can one account be logged in to? Since it doesn't seem like online play is even an option there wouldn't be a problem there with multiple people using the account in that aspect.

Anyways just trying to throw out ideas on how we can make sharing possible before the game comes out. If it's not possible then so be it but would definitely make things a lot easier.

Are we not allowed to talk about *cough* save wizard *cough cough* because if we can. This gets a lot easier.

For those who don't know it allows you to resign your saves as you could on Xbox 360, so we'd be able to share all our created teams. The downside is the software costs 60 bucks. If a good amount of people would be interested im down for creating a sharable roster that way.

I'm pretty good with the in-game logo editor so I'm going to have a bunch of the NCAA logos done regardless.

If anyone still has a PS3 and a copy of NCAA 2014 looks like the guys on this thread has been working on a 2019 Roster file. Would be a good starting point/reference.

Not sure if they're using a spread sheet or just editing on the fly in game. I assume in game but not sure.
