What sort of playbooks are we looking at? Option? Air Raid?

Correct. They might be adding a play designer or playbook manager as a content update after the game releases.

Did they do content updates for the last game? Were they free or paid? I really hope they add the playbooks early to AI teams. I fear all the teams will for the most part play the same.

This is the one big killer for me. I want each team to play to a particular style. I don't want to play Army and have them pass the ball 30 times a game.

That's the biggest thing keeping me from getting this game. From what I've read the game doesn't even have the read option. I'm afraid that every team is going to feel the same.

I'm still going to buy it to try it out, and as an appreciation for them trying something in regards to a college game. Without difference in playbooks, no read option (this is college), transfers, it's a let down. Here's hoping they get alot of support and we see something like No Man's Sky that continues to improve the game.

I know last year they released a bunch of updates that included content upgrades. They state they have the animation done for the option, so I hope they add it when/if they release the playbook update.

They had and will have free content updates . They added things like the spring league and the logo creator last year.
