Since NHL 23 appears to be a carbon copy of 22 with some pregame presentation. I've decided to skip 23 and continue with 22.

But after 1 season of my Buffalo Sabres dynasty, I'm just not really having fun with it. I'm not a Sabres fan and only done it as I thought they'd be fun to rebuild. But between not being a fan and using an early roster, without a lot of the top prospects like Owen Power, I figured it'd be more fun to use the final roster update for 22 and actually use the team I like. Not to mention the arena atmosphere is better with the Blue Jackets, between the cannon and the CBJ chant.

I'll be playing around 16 games a season. Plan to play 1 and then sim 5-6, so it should average out to 2 games a month.

Columbus is a fun TEam to build. In my NHL 19 they made the Playoffs before losing to Washington again. Lot of young studs man look forward to this

It's always fun the play with your favorite team. It's too bad you couldn't make the offseason trades to pick up Johnny Gaudreau as he'd be fun to pair with Laine.

I thought about editing the roster and moving him over...but decided against it and to replay last season and see where it goes.

Yeah Elvis in goal has gotten off to a super slow start. That kinda surprises me with his ratings. But hopefully he'll turn it around.

As much as I hate it...I really start to lose interest in GM-based games after about half a season as I don't actually have any control over the game itself. Hence my losing interest in my WHA Indy Racers franchise. But I do want a hockey fix and with NHL 23 being pretty blah with its condensed presentation I decided to try and continue this Blue Jackets one instead of waiting for 23 to hit EA Play or buying it on sale.

I know how you feel. I've always hated that NHL Games don't allow you to have a full 32 Team Control. In my Game, Chicago traded Toews to Arizona. It's a lot of stupid Computer moves but the best advice I can give you man is just embrace the stupid moves and make it an interesting Storyline. That's what I do lol.

Yeah it's getting a bit ridiculous. Sad part is I'm only playing 1 game and then simming like 5. So I can't even take all the blame for it. LOL

Probably gonna be a massive roster overhaul around trade deadline time. I mean this teams not good but it's also not that bad. LOL Goaltending has been horrendous.
