If I remember, on YouTube NBA Live videos are under the EA Sports Madden NFL channel, Live doesn't even have its own channel anymore.

Curious if EA is actually working on a new Live game. They said something about working on a game, but that was years ago, and anyway EA mostly cancels games or hides them. Wouldn't be surprised if they were actually working on a new Live game a few years ago, but cancelled it before it was even officially announced.

Yes indeed, it would be great to see Live again and have some options. Live 19 had a lot of potential so it's too bad they when on a hiatus again.

That's very interesting, Youvalss and in a way, not surprising either to be honest.

Same here. I was looking to see if they meant to say NBA Live Mobile but it just says NBA Live. And yes indeed, there was an interview back in 2021 where EA Sports general manager Daryl Holt said they're trying to figure out what direction they're going in with "HD Basketball" and that they still have a good relationship with the NBA but are a bit more focused on the mobile side at the moment.

And I feel you on the cancellation possibility. Ever since the 2010s hit, Live has on a couple of hiatuses or games had issues (how can we forget about NBA Elite 11 and Live 14?). That said, Live 19 was and still is a fun game so they had potential with that and could've built on that but we saw what happened of course. The NBA is huge and growing so it would only be smart for EA to jump on board. Even some 2K players on Twitter have decided to hop back on Live 19 for the time being but in general, it would just be fun to have options again like with golf.
