If McIntyre doesn't win, WWE messed up. This is THE moment to make him a world champ. Could be an all time reaction moment too.

Piper vs Bayley will be an interesting one. Bayley will be going into this match as the face champ but fans will be 100% behind Piper. When was last time we had a good guy champ who usually gets cheered getting booed because they're facing the hometown challenger?

We're also likely seeing the same thing happen with Alba/Isla probably facing Bianca/Jade.

Do we see Gallus show up in some way too? Debut and win the tag titles (Theory/Waller seem like they're setting those two up for a split)?

Noam Dar is in NXT, but would love a Supernova Sessions on this show.

I know NXT Battleground is next Sunday but are we already on to the next main roster PLE? It's crazy but I've seen people suggest Priest hold on to the title and Drew lose, and that would be a bad idea. I get it, Punk & Drew have done so much where it feels they don't need the title for their feud but Drew needs the win here. Punk being injured might turn out to be a blessing in disguise the same way Cody getting injured was.

WWE can now have Drew win here, and give him a proper world title run in front of fans leading to Punk winning the Rumble and challenging Drew for the title at Mania next year.

I don't think Punks will be out that long.

Maybe it's multiple matches in this feud?

Match 1 is Summerslam with McIntyre cheating to win and Punk eventually goes on a path for a rematch?

But it does suck we have such short amount of times between events. Seems like about 3 weeks between a bunch of PLEs.

Maybe we'll get Joe Hendry at NXT Battleground but if they could get him on this show... the crowd would go crazy. Just have AJ Francis come out, run down Scotland and Michael Cole until Joe interrupts him to a loud pop.

If Gallus either debuts on the main roster or just shows up for this one event, maybe they issue an open challenge. Gallus puts down Scotland even though they're from there. Then a team led by Hendry and whoever else is with him come out and face off in a match.

Interesting but not as surprising as decision.

WWE is doing away with the post PLE press conference for this weekend. It's being rebranded as a post show instead. I'd imagine it's just a talking smack kind of post show?

If WWE doesn't want media asking media questions, don't have a press conference. Guess they realized that? All this because 1 guy asked about Drew Gulak.

Cole really undersold the crowd for the kickoff.

                He said "hundreds and hundreds".

It literally looks like a concert crowd!

                Sounds like one too.

Cole asking AJ about TNA! Never thought about it though, what if AJ losing the match does lead to him "quitting" and he just shows up in TNA for a brief time for this storyline.

Cody literally went crowd surfing! HHH and security held their breath big time during that.

Nobody in WWE knew until they got there that it was the OVO Hydro Arena and not the OVO Hydro Arena? As in, it's the word OVO, not Drakes OVO.

Piper calling out the WWE graphics department for showing Doudrop on the graphic and not Piper.

Drew getting the crowd riled up with a non PG chant.

Drew to Damian: "Unfortunately for you, I dream broken dreams and make them come true."

Since they gave Sheamus his old theme song, it's time to give Drew his old theme song back too. That place will go nuts as soon as the guitar riff in the beginning plays and we get the actual song, not a snippet like they did in 2022.

I wouldn't use it as his entrance.

I'd use it as his victory theme.

Instead of that awkward duet we saw to end Clash 1, why not end this one with Drew winning and then after his victory they play broken dreams as the fans sing the show to a close.

Speaking of which, I hope this is the main event. If Drew wins and you have AJ vs Cody still to come, that'll be as stupid a decision as Jericho-HHH following Rock-Hogan.

Big E and KO on the kickoff panel!

Drew reveals he thought of stepping away from WWE at the end of his deal (just taking time off before returning). Depending what happens with the CM Punk feud, I could see him "walking away" for a month or so if Punk happens to beat him for the title.

Cathy: Chad, you faced Sami in Montreal but you came up short.

                      Gable: .......

Cathy: I mean.....you....didn't walk out with the title.

                      Someone having Shorty G flashbacks.

Speaking of being triggered, KO bringing up the Festival of Friendship.

KO talking to Chelsea: I was once Universal Championship and hung around a Canadian who also claimed WE were the champs....it ended horribly.

Regal moderating a dart match between Pretty Deadly and some pro dart players at WWE HQ isn't something I was expecting.

AJ vs Cody kicking off the PLE, Drew's winning in the main event! This will be an all time moment.

Am I crazy or was last year's show at an outdoor stadium?

Seems like they are in a smaller, indoor arena for this year.

It's funny that WWE has taken on more of a 'sports - based' feeling since the unceremonious departure of Vince and Kevin Dunn.

Big thumbs up in my book.

I feel they're doing it to "set the stage" for a future bigger show.

The arena show is the "show us what you can bring". If the city/country brings it with crowds, attendance, all of it, they're definitely in line for a big stadium show.

Alright, so last year wasn't in an outdoor stadium? Maybe I'm mixing up last year's show with AEW's Wembly show? [emoji53]

Damn, I'm tripping hard cause the last Clash was actually 2 years ago. Too much pro wrestling and getting older makes time just bleed into itself.

                              I'm over the international shows.

I hate the ****ing timeslot and the singing and how forced everything is.

Hope Drew wins. I'd love to hear his old song but his current song is too bad *** to sacrifice.
