It so happened, that was the day my son Kaleb was born. I held him in my arms as we stumbled onto the Michigan/Minnesota game on TV. Michigan was down by 28. At halftime Lloyd Carr said that if they continued to play like this, they wouldn't win the Little Brown Jug.
I looked down at Kaleb and whispered, "they can still win this". And they did.
Ever since then, this game has always been big for us. We'd always watch it. Always win it on NCAA Football (now EA Sports College Football!). And Minnesota wasn't the usual rivalry. We hate Ohio State. We hate Michigan State. But Minnesota, was kinda like the little brother (no pun intended).
Anyway, for his birthday I bought us tickets to the Michigan/Minnesota game this year. It's his first time at the Big House. I've been there twice...both during the RichRod era, where luckily we won (Miami of Ohio and UConn - which was the Rededication Game).
I'm just so pumped guys. I can't wait for this game. I can't wait for my boy to experience his first time at the Big House. It's going to be a fun time.
I'm also excited to find out what time the game will be. It's still TBD. Kinda hoping for some reason it's a night game!
Anyway, Go Blue!
