    Survivor 47

    It's about that time.

Survivor "Forty Several" premieres Wednesday night!

Can't believe we're already several seasons in to the new era. Just over a years time we'll be at their big 50th Legends season. No word on if that'll be the last season of the show, hopefully not, but enjoy the seasons (good or bad) while we have them.

A yellow tribe losing a challenge in the new era while having someone who wants to leave from the start who isnt a good player...I've seen this before!

Looked like a combination of heat stroke and panic or anxiety attack at the same time. Felt so weird seeing that going down while the challenge was still going on. You just see tribes competing and then celebrating and in the background he's just on the ground surrounded by medical.

I kinda felt like this dude was doomed once he admitted to being a podcast host

Jeff could tell dude was fine, he calls for medical and then tells everyone to keep competing. Then dude whines about not getting enough love. He's lucky the podcast guy was already on his way out. The sympathy vote to keep him was ridiculous, and he had the gall to say it wasn't planned. pfft

Can't believe they kept that guy for "strength" when he was passed out after swimming 50 yards.

Tonight featured one of the craziest stats I can't believe is true.

This is the first time in Survivor history that in a 3 tribe format, the first 3 boots came from each tribe.

          Surprised it never happened before.

            Talk about a blindside.

Only 5 people in the tribe but 3 names were serious threats to go.

And Sue was messy tonight (no pun intended). She says she's a grandmother but then also says she's 45, which isn't out of the realm, but still not as common at that age (this would mean she either had a kid in her mid-late 20s while her daughter had a kid as a teenager, or her and her daughter both had kids in their early 20s. Again, not impossible, but not as common, and that would definitely bring on questions from the tribe like asking if her daughter has a kid as a teenager, or if not, what was it like for Sue to have a daughter in her early 20s)

And then she gets caught red handed (pun intended this time) with the paint but her tribe does believe it's blood...except when she's confronted she's like "What blood.....actually it was the machete. You know what, I was being stupid, I bit my tongue."

It seemed like an odd thing to lie about. She looks 60+ despite being 58. She should have just said 50.

I'm just happy one tribe isn't getting decimated. Gen basically did the reverse threat to Rome and forced him to vote out Kishan.

Avoiding those posts above me for a minute because I missed last night, but we’re at the stage of the game where I’m getting invested. Just realized I hadn’t really been in here yet.

It's harder too because on Survivor you can't wear makeup or anything either and are exposed to the sun all the time. When you're almost 60, you're not exactly fooling people thinking you're in your mid 40s.

Don't get the point of saying her age anyways. Doesn't matter if she's 45 or 58, she's still the oldest by a whole generation from the next person on her tribe. Despite that, I'm surprised how old the cast is. Most people are within 4 years of 30. If someone like Rachel or Andy said they were 25, I'd believe it.

This Rome and Sol junk is annoying, apparently they're friends now? cmon, next week they're just gonna hate each other again, and production will steer us elsewhere, and then wow! a twist! annoying

                      Re: Survivor 47

I liked that challenge where they mixed up the tribes without doing an actual tribe swap.

That's more what I was hoping they do with the pre jury stage of the game. Complete randomness where its not about alliances or anything.

And after the reward Tiyana messes up.

"I have to come clean to Gabe or else nobody will trust me"

*Tiyana comes clean to Gabe while telling him a complete lie*

                      Lies = Untrustworthy

                      Guess she never knew that

There's literally 0 reason to lie when your other 3 tribesmates can obviously verify to Gabe if that story was true or not. What happens when Caroline now checks in with Gabe (since Tiyana knows Caroline wanted her to talk to Gabe) and "accidentally" reveals something Tiyana never told Gabe...

It's fun hearing different people's thoughts on Survivor who might not have been fans before. I never knew Rider Strong (from BMW) was a fan. Seems he became a fan because he and his wife watched it. Funny hearing him basically ramble on about how you have to be a psychopath to even play the game and lie and manipulate people. Then goes on and says he's so trustworthy that he'll believe anyone and then be the one shocked when someone turns on him.

The ending this week was great. It really brought out the pyscho. She definitely gave off crazy but took it to the next level just standing there staring at them. She had to be debating attacking them verbally or physically.

I still don't know if Sam or Andy was the genius. Andy sure thinks he was brilliant, getting the other two to think he was on the outs and "tricking" them into making a fake plan. But Sam already led a plan against Anika, and saved his idol that could only be used that week because he didn't want Andy to know... there's some next level gameplay going on

Rome is one of the definitions of being "too much", but he was entertaining as a villain. I could see him coming back one day.

He did do a good job taking Jeff's job for a moment.

I can’t get a feel yet for who’s who as far as a pecking order. I haven’t been as invested in this season until now so as I rewatch them I’ll have to pay a bit more attention. It’s getting good.
