    60s and 70s Historic in All-Time

    Hello everyone,

I enjoy the historic teams and eras 2K has brought and enjoy creating so I've given my shot at some teams from the past. I have started sharing the roster on 2K Share and consider it a work in progress. It is under the Name 60s & 70s Historic in All Time, PSN PlatinumSh0tz999, under the current roster.

All the teams are or will be complete and have filler players who typically were drafted but never played or were injured for the season and so on.

    So far I have completed:
    1967 Philadelphia 76ers - NBA champs
1965 Boston Celtics - NBA champs
    1968 St. Louis (ATL) Hawks
    1966 Cincinnati Royals (Kings)
1970 New York Knicks - NBA champs
1977 Portland Trail Blazers - NBA champs
    1967 Golden State Warriors
1978 Washington Bullets - NBA champs
    1973 Chicago Bulls
    1976 Cleveland Cavaliers
    1969 Los Angeles Lakers
1976 New York (ABA champion) Nets
    1976 ABA Denver Nuggets
1973 Indiana Pacers - ABA Champions
    1979 Houston Rockets
    1978 San Antonio Spurs
    1978 Milwaukee Bucks
    1976 Phoenix Suns
1973 Carolina Cougars (ABA) in the Charlotte Hornets All-Time
1975 Kentucky Colonels (ABA champs) - in the Memphis Grizzlies All-Time
1979 Seattle Supersonics (OKC) - NBA champs
    1975 Buffalo Braves (LAC)
    1971 Detroit Pistons
    1978 New Orleans Jazz (UTA)
1971 Utah Stars (ABA champs) - in the Orlando Magic All-Time
1974 Boston Celtics - NBA champs -- in the Miami Heat All-Time, because I really had nowhere else to put them.

I have also completed the historic teams. I changed the `71 Lakers into the `72 team, and the `72 Knicks into the `73 team, because those teams won the title. I have also changed the `91 Blazers into the `92 team that went to the Finals, the 90 Cavs, into the `89 team (57 wins, lost to Jordan and Bulls), and the `98 Spurs team into the '95 team, with Rodman. I also made the `98 Lakers into the 2000 team (67 wins) and the 2012 Knicks into the 2013 team that went ot the Eastern Conference Finals.

Due to some teams not having an extended history I made the 1988 Dallas Mavericks, and 2008 New Orleans Hornets (All-Time Pelicans spot). as well as placing the 1986 Houston Rockets in the All-Time Toronto Raptors slot. Lastly I made the 1953 George Mikan led Minneapolis Lakers and placed them in the All-Time Timberwolves slot.

I have also placed some of the more recent teams in the current teams slots. A list of those can be found in later posts. Thank you, I hope you enjoy this roster.

I have downloaded your roster but can't seem to find where these teams are ? What slots did you place them in ? Current, Historic or All-Time Slots ?

In the All-Time Slots. I attempted to semi adjust the playbooks as well, but it's an imperfect science for me to do. So they are better but could be a lot better.

Looks great. Any time a roster has some ABA teams the better.

            An update.

I have completed the 1973 Bulls, and the 1976 Nuggets (ABA). The 1976 Cavs are almost complete and should be up in a day or so. The next team after that will be probably the 1974 or 1976 ABA champion Nets, followed by the 1973 Pacers.

Completed the 1976 Cleveland Cavs and Phoenix Suns.
Will be looking at one of the Nets teams `74 or `76 probably after Christmas.

              Merry Christmas everyone.

Finished up the 1968 St. Louis Hawks, and completed the 1976 ABA New York Nets to compete with the `76 Nuggets.

Looking at the 1978 San Antonio Spurs next. Then perhaps the 1979 Rockets.

Got around to finishing the `78 Spurs. Life's been kicking my a** lately and finally got some time to relax. Starting the 1979 Rockets, Moses Malone's first MVP year. Rick Berry, Rudy T, and Calvin Murphy are all on this team as well. Should be a fun team.

Also did a bit with the `88 Mavericks, as well as the 2008 New Orleans Hornets, in the Pelicans All-Time slot, and the 2009 Magic. To be honest I didn't do much with these guys, as far as adjustments go. I made some minor adjustments but will go more in to detail later.

The 1973 ABA champion Pacers are now complete. Rather happy with the result. I had them play 10 CPU games against the NBA champion Knicks, while watching the Chiefs be the Chiefs, and the Lions be the Lions LOL. All games were rather competitive with only one blowout. The Knicks did win 7 of the 10, but I think this is rather realistic, given the Knicks superior depth, especially with Willis Reed healthy. If I took him out of the lineup like he missed most of that regular season I'm certain the Pacers would have won most all those games. This is about the time the ABA started to catch up and win many of those inter league exhibitions. Exhibitions, but the players were taking them seriously. Those Knicks I think were a bit deeper.

I also completed the Rockets from 1979, and will get the 1969 Lakers done soon. At that point I'm feeling the Carolina Cougars from 1973 in the All-Time Charlotte Hornets slot.

Completed the 1978 Milwaukee Bucks along with the ABA's 1973 Carolina Cougars, who are in the All-Time Hornets slot. Started work on the 1975 Kentucky Colonels, who will be in the Memphis Grizzlies All-Time slot.

                        is the roster cross platform?

Any chance of adding Buffalo Braves with Bob McAdoo, Randy Smith, Ernie DeGregorio in his rookie year?

                          Thanks

Thinking about it. No one else to put in that Clippers spot. I would probably lean toward that McAdoo MVP year.

I thought they were all cross platform. Is there something special you have to do to make them cross platform?
