    Medal of Honor: Airborne

    http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/10060/...rne-Announced/

They're making it for PC, PS3, PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360, the full lineup.

"Medal of Honor Airborne is a step in a new direction for the franchise. While integrating our state-of-the-art, next-gen technology into every aspect of the game, we are introducing innovations that will redefine the series and impact the genre as a whole," explained Patrick Gilmore, VP and Executive Producer at EALA. "By fully controlling the airdrop from your very first step through landing, Medal of Honor Airborne adds a new dimension of player choice by letting you decide where every mission begins and how it plays out."

Could be interesting with airdrops and choosing where a mission beings.

    Dear old Nebraska U.
Where the girls are the fairest,
    The boys are the squarest,
Of any old school that I knew.
There is no place like Nebraska,
    Where they're all true blue.
    We'll all stick together,

      Re: Medal of Honor: Airborne

They showed the game off in the new Game Informer, and it actually looks really damn good graphically. Not what I was expecting from Medal of Honor. It's a really good read, and they're doing quite a bit of things that are quite different for the series, like weapon upgrades, open worlds, AI that reacts to the situations and the battlefield, physics rendered world, U-Cap and E-Cap technology (the kind of stuff Fight Night has for faces), vehicles, etc.

Who knows what kind of quality the game will end up being, but if the things they're trying work out, it should be great. MOH has stunk for a while, so hopefully they can get back on track with this one. They only showed off the PS3 version, and said the current gen ones will quite different in terms of mission goals, structure, etc.

Too bad the only multiplayer will be 4 player online co-op. Sounded really cool though with the way they're doing the co-op in the game.

This sounds great. WW 2 games are the best war games IMO.

I hope they fix that, that blows if that's the only option. Don't get me wrong, 4 player co op could be very cool, but come on, where's the 16 or 32 players that we all want?

And will you be able to absorb 10 bullets before dying, and will the enemies appear in the same spot every time, just like every other damn Medal of Honor game?

The first two MoH games on the PlayStation were superb. Now the series is so played out it isn't funny. MoH is a second-rate citizen when it comes to war games. An arcadish joke surpassed by numerous shooting games, such as Ghost Recon, Brothers in Arms, Rainbow Six, SOCOM, Operation Flashpoint, Close Combat: First to Fight, Battlefield, Call of Duty 2, etc., etc.

              Take care,

                Re: Medal of Honor: Airborne

MoH went downhill after the first couple of games, because a majority of the team left, and formed a new development studio Infinity Ward.

Hopefully the franchise can make a comeback.

An EA WW2 shooter, yippie! They said a bunch of crap about European Assault and couldn't keep them, I expect the same here.

Looks kind of like those pics in the Game Informer. That joint is funny too. Pretty hot stuff. EA seems to be stepping up their game with the XBOX 360 on the real. I can only wonder if they'll follow through. I'm starting to like EA a little, minus their football decisions and lack of basketball showcase.......

Sans Burnout, what product has EA brought to the 360 that has shown they have "stepped up their game."

MOH's is one of those games I buy on release day no matter what the reviews say.

Yeah, I will agree with that. I never thought I would see the day when I looked forward more to EA games than EA Sports games. I only see the extra months helping the 360 version of Godfather. Unless they absolutely drop the ball, I will get that on release day.
