From IGN : "Acclaim likely to pull Live. January 27, 2003 - It wasn't long ago that Acclaim was boasting about the many features and improvements to All-Star Baseball 2004. Among them, was the promise for Xbox Live support. According to several sources, it looks like online head-to-head play will not be coming to ASB this year. From what we understand, if Live actually does make the cut, it would be buggy. And, to be honest, would not likely pass Microsoft quality control.
However, the latest build of ASB 2004 in our mitts has an option for downloadable updates, so we may still see downloadable content support from Acclaim. It looks like it's up to Microsoft's still unannounced, tentatively titled MLB Inside Pitch, to carry the head-to-head crown this year."
