Received my copy from Overseas...

You guys should start getting your copy soon. I ordered on tuesday of last week and I got mine today, ordered it from DVD.co.uk and its the UK version BLES-00688, you can check the back of the manual or on the CD to check what version you have. I already loaded the OF from Winningelevenblog.com and it works like a charm. They said they are working another update, so this should get you by for now before you start master league. I was also able to get the update that konami put out, 1.01 i believe. So far so good.

Got my copy today by walking into a store hehe, two days prior to the local official release too

360 version, and since i don't own any form of wacky transfer thing to get an OF across, no OF for me yet...

Still at uni for like 5 hours but i'll get a few test games in tonight.

Is the 1.01 update anything useful, like a roster update?

So being in the States, do you have to go about getting the 1.01 update a special way, or does it recognize the version of the game and update automatically?

It updates automatically, or at least PES 2009 did

It just asked me if i wanted to update it. Nothing special needed. I didn't have to change anything.
BTW, if any of you guys gets the EU version (BLES00689) instead of the UK version, there is an OF for that, you can find it here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HVZWATQ0 they only have the Premier League ( kits, emblems, team names ), and Spanish League ( kits, emblems, team names) for now, but it's better than nothing. Or you can try this one from Spain that works with the EU version http://www.megaupload.com/?d=K36273QW its at 80% complete, here is the original link but it's in Spanish, http://www.pesoccerworld.com/foro/vi...?f=173&t=90750 you can use Google translate to get it in English.

All credit goes to Sean aka 01srainey of the WENB site. This is for PS3 UK version, simply unzip the file, double click on the folder you just unziped and copy the next folder called PS3 onto your USB flash drive, put it in your PS3 and copy all the files EXCEPT the SYSTEM DATA. You will not see that file on your computer, only on your PS3. Once again DO NOT COPY THE SYSTEM DATA file or else the tropies will be locked for this game.
