Boost Packs just randomly unlocking for anyone else?

Just curious is this is happening for anyone else(ps3/EASHL player only/doesn't happen for my offline BAP).

I have the Gamestop pre-order equipment set on my EASHL player(it takes awhile to actually show up in the slots). I only have a few boosts assigned that I have unlocked by playing the game.

About a week ago, I noticed my player was slightly faster, and seemed slightly better. I went to edit attributes and noticed I had the "sniper boost pack unlocked(hadn't bought it, hadn't unlocked it). Then, yesterday, same thing for the defensive d-man pack.

I also think that I somehow got two sets of attribute upgrade points after I played 10 EASHL games. The 1200 points you can disperse(400/400/400). Actually, I am almost 100% sure I did.

Server glitch? Has this happened to anyone else?

Yepp it happened to me as well. I play goalie though, so what happened was like around 12 gms played, which is only good enough for a rookie card, I happened to check my attributes and noticed stand up boost pack was on. I was like no way I unlocked a boost pack so soon, so I went to the packs and it still said it was locked. Believe it or not I unequipped it, I'm a hybrid goalie anyways, saved it after I took boost pack off, went back in and was unable to put the stand up pack back on....so yea....weird

Same here. I put on the gear the first night and nothing. The next night suddenly I was an 86 overall? Then I changed the curve of my stick (not the stick itself just the curve) and I'm then down to 80? Then I put the curve back to where it was and I'm back at 86?

I don't know what I did and didn't intentionally go looking for it.

A friend of mine tried it though with the same gear and got nothing. Definitely something weird.
