    IMPORTANT MESSAGE: 1/23/12!!!! <hr style="color: rgb(57, 57, 57);" size="1">
I have EVERY HISTORIC ROSTER FILE for 2K11 in 2 zip folders. You will need:

    1) a knowledge of how to get a .ROS file from your desktop to your hard drive. If you don't...Google it. I will NOT answer any questions on how to do it.

    2) an email address with a TON of space available.

    3) send an email to THIS address: mkharsh33@yahoo.com. Do NOT spam me or do anything stupid. I'm offering this as a help. Make sure you put in the subject line "OS - NBA 2K11 CLASSIC ROSTERS"

    4) do NOT send me any private messages here at OS. I will NOT answer them.

    5) do NOT ask me for individual files or certain requests. You get both folders with 10 rosters in each. You will need approx 24 MB of SPACE in your EMAIL to handle these emails. Do not send me an email if you know it will get rejected (which has happened to me here). I will send them to you once...if they get shot back, I'll send you another note, but no second or third emails.

    6) Just leave a note here in this forum, letting me know you've sent an email to me (it's my secondary address that is used sparingly). I'll be sure to check it a bit more frequently, but a heads-up here would be helpful for me (as I frequent this site).

I'm offering this because I've received many questions and PM's from people asking about these rosters. I've been bombarded with notes from disgruntled 2K12 people.

I can send you complete season roster files... Please know it's taken me a bit of time to put these files together, and you're probably getting a couple/three hundred dollars worth of work (from not only myself, but other roster creators here, notably PortlandBlazer) in two emails.

You will need WINRAR to open the two zip folders (10 .ROS rosters in each folder). Pull those rosters onto your desktop and then use the appropriate means to get them from your desktop to your 360's hard drive.

Please respect my directions here. No need to send any private messages of thanks or hatred, just leave all comments here (I don't have time to answer everyone). Appreciate the understanding!

    ---------------

    TO INSTALL NBA 2K11 Rosters:

    - format your usb removable drive FIRST (put it in your 360 - go to "storage" and find the removable drive - follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure you have a USB stick that is compatible with a 360).

    - after doing so, put your NBA 2K11 game in your 360 and SAVE a roster (any kind will do) to your USB drive (NOT your 360's hard drive).

    - Google USBXTAFGUI_v44 - save this program on your pc/laptop desktop

    - put your USB drive into your laptop / pc - do NOT open it when prompted to.

    - open the program USBXTAFGUI_v44 (that you should have already downloaded) - it will look like a silver / green xbox icon on your desktop. when the next screen comes up click on "run".

    - under "file" click on the "open first USB drive" in the drop-down menu.

    - you should now see TWO columns (right and left). in the LEFT column, click on the 2nd one called "Data Partition" and then click on the next sub-menu called "Content".

    - You will see a series of numbers and letters. This will be your 360's profile identification (I believe). IT MAY NOW GET A BIT CONFUSING...

So, here's a simple way to know how to get the proper RIGHT SIDE partition (column) open: find the roster (on the RIGHT SIDE) that YOU saved earlier when you had your USB drive in your 360. Keep looking under those numbers on the left side until you see it showing up on the right side.

Once you find YOUR "generic" roster that you saved earlier in the RIGHT SIDE column, it's now as simple as dropping-and-dragging MY FILES (that are on your desktop - all the .ROS files) in the RIGHT COLUMN.

THAT'S IT!!! Close out that program USBXTAFGUI_v44 and then make sure you properly eject your USB drive from your laptop/pc.

Put the USB stick into your 360 - go to your settings. Go to "storage" and find your removable USB stick. Copy the files that you got from me from your USB drive ONTO your 360 hard drive. Remove the USB drive and have fun playing your game once you load up my roster in your game menu.

Re: Hardwood Classic Rosters - Compiled List

    Hey guys!

I thought it might be wise to compile a list of rosters here so everyone can find season's past easily. This is a list of ACTUAL COMPLETE SEASON roster files - not the "best of" or teams like Imperial develops which has players from all different generations. This is simply a list of complete season roster files.

    Please add them here...

Also, if you have downloaded any but have found them to have glaring mistakes or wrong information, please share that here as well. I WILL UPDATE POST 1 AS YOU ADD INFORMATION HERE!

PLEASE SEE POST #1 FOR COMPLETE LISTINGS!!!

Re: Hardwood Classic Rosters - Compiled List

There is a 1994-1995 season file on 2k Share. I cannot recall the gamertag, but he notes in his details something along the lines of "as good as it can get."

I have downloaded this and reviewed it. Though he does a nice job, he is missing a LOT of players. He filled out the depth charts (the final 2 or 3 slots) with "filler" players.

I noticed after review that the Jazz had Greg Ostertag. He didn't play for the Jazz until the next season and Felton Spencer was missing. Also, he had Blue Edwards on the Jazz (which is correct) and also Jay Humphries. The problem is that Humphries should have been moved to the Celtics because he was whom the Jazz traded to get Edwards. Also, David Benoit was missing and he played a key role for the Jazz that season. He also had Antoine Carr rated as one of the lowest players, and Carr had a fantastic season and should probably be the 3rd or 4th best player on that team.

I'd recommend not using this file because of the inaccuracies.

(This is the kind of information that would be nice to see here. I don't want to sound critical, but rather objective. I am very particular about rosters, and if that's a bothersome quality to you then my apologies. I'd simply like to hear what you're finding and that we compile the most complete list possible. Thanks!).

you should also note which system each of the rosters is for.

you can add my 84-85 roster as w.i.p., it could be two weeks or so til i finish.

Harsh, you got your season up on 2K Share? I thought you couldn't get it to post?

PB, I'm so stoked you are doing an 84-85 set. One of my all-time favorite seasons in the NBA.

Dan... I was able to get "version 1" up onto 2K Share. I've done 3 versions, the last two being a .ROS download file for the Xport Transfer Cable. But the first one is solid, just missing a few other players I added, and I cleaned up some of the other clutter.

I am working on the 1994-1995 Season and have a target date of March 1st (if not sooner) for completion. Post 1 updated to reflect this...

Re: Hardwood Classic Rosters - Compiled List

how are you going about 1994-95 mk? using the one from 2k share as a base, or using your 1991 as a base? are you going to go with creating teams then downloading them from 2k share and dealing with frankenstein faces again in order to get as many players as possible in?

my guess is having so many extra cap's on one file from downloaded teams is the reason why your final 1991 roster won't upload on to 2k share. any luck finding someone to convert the file so that it can be downloaded through xchange?

checking out portlandblazers outstanding 1994-95 nba 2k10 franchise file may be an easier way of selecting which players to use, saving you some time.

Nice! If you can, PM me a list of guys you are missing and I'll add them myself.

1994-95, another good season. Man, I'm going to be playing 2K11 for YEARS now with all these classic rosters. I just wish we had a court editor so we could have authentic courts to go with the rosters.

Does anyone know of a mid 1970's roster for PS3?

I really want to play as the Buffalo Braves, but have no idea how to replicate those players from that era myself...

For that matter, how about the old skool ABA?

                      Thanks!

I am so with. We need a 1970's season or decade roster. This is one era that no full roster set has been done. Please do one ratings guys.

70's would be really difficult, i don't know of any roster makers who specialize in that era. it would be awesome though if it were to happen. but the lack of 70's uniforms and playing games on current courts would ruin the experience for me

Good point on the uni's...some teams (like Warriors, I believe) have 70's throwbacks and some like NYK and BOS, etc. didn't change too much...

It's not realistic, but a game based on the old ABA would be pretty AWESOME, IMHO...

I have been working on a retro roster that has 6 ABA teams included. (68 Pipers with Hawkins, 70 Rockets with Haywood, 72 Colonels with Gilmore and Issel, 72 Utah Stars, 73 Virginia Squires with Dr. J and Gervin, and the 70 Pacers) along with several other retro teams I have yet to see. What is cool about making retro ABA teams is that you can use create a team and not worry so much about logos. In fact, some logos work perfectly for ABA, (i.e. Virginia Squires) I am gonna post details about the whole project soon.

www.remembertheaba.com has a lot of detail on the ABA and was very helpful.
