    Slimm44's 2k14 Editing Guide

Here is a spreadsheet with basic instructions and the formulas I use to edit ratings and tendencies. They work pretty well. If you have any questions, let me know.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU SAVE A COPY OF THIS SPREADSHEET. MY GOOGLE DRIVE ACCOUNT WAS COMPROMISED TWICE WITHIN THE LAST YEAR AND I LOST EVERYTHING.

Good stuff here bro...I seen this somewhere before though as I used this to gain knowledge on the way the game engine worked for 2k13. Again many props.

Just a question about speed and quickness scale . Does it make some guys to slow or no?

                    Superb work slimm, much appreciated.

Quick question - what do you use for Run Plays in the coach profiles, all teams at 100?

Not usually. The scales are subjective so you can play with them. Also, there are times when players go above the scale. The subjective scales are guides.

                      Right now, yes.

Help Defense – Find Opponents Points-in-the-Paint at http://www.teamrankings.com/nba/stat/

                        opponent-points-in-paint-per-game and apply scale.
Do you think we should use FG% in the paint instead of PIP per game?

                          Heads up,

For new rookies/real draft classes I would use the information from draftexpress.com. The site

will usually have a player comparison for each player.
They haven't really done this since the Class of 2011. I don't know why they stopped. I will Tweet them to start back up

For your rookie ratings section, on some websites ( i think i was on CBS last year) you can actually find season long shot charts for guys so you can get their FGM/FGA for each zone

                              Slimm44,

there are a few players (Gay & Morris) that were traded that have two different % for shooting.

How do you rate their %?

For Gay mid he has 35% (Grizz), 27% (Raps) I added and divided by 2 and it came up with 31% which mid jumper is 51.

Is the correct for you because I have a few players that mid is in the high 30's and low 50's?
                              True bout my business, Mane!
