    NCAA 03 Gameplay Impressions

    Can we have a thread just devoted to gameplay. I am getting tired of reading about pant colors and sock length and the like.

    I want to know how this game plays. What are the differences from last year. Can you notice the improvments that were suppose to have been made

      Totally agreed. I gave up sifting through those ridiculous questions trying to find out about the gameplay and not the player ratings or whatnot. Those actually taking the time to answer those ridiculous questions should be highly commended as it is definitely taking away from their play time. Also, those questions aren't exactly impressions they are fact based questions. How about it mods?

          I'm with you guys all the way on this one. I'm really curious about the A.I. sliders myself and if a lot of slider manipulation is necessary for better gameplay.

              Yes, good idea. This should be a place where we can discuss slider settings that are realistic.

                  Regarding sliders, i hope the game plays better out of the box. I spent way too much time last year setting them.

                  I loved how High Heat used them. The game played really well without any changes. With just a few minor changes I got the result i wanted.

                      By reading Steve's long impressions thread, it seems it's a better game "out of the box" this year. By that I mean that the game seems to play pretty solid on the default slider settings. I hope this is true, because I don't want to spent countless hours adjusting and re-adjusting the sliders.

                          Amen! I've been waiting for a thread like this one. If the game plays great out of the box with minimal slider settings, I will be in football heaven!

                              im also curious about how much impact player ratings have. If a QB is rated low he should not be able to go robo on me. i hope they are better imlemented than they have been in the past
