LEGENDS Thread - NBA 2K18 & beyond: (Accessories, jerseys, sig styles etc)

With 2k being kind enough to give us an additional 16 'new' classic teams this year, and the inclusion of the All Time Teams, I thought best to create a definitive thread where we can discuss and offer ideas as to how both the existing legends be improved upon and going forward, help 2k with a little attention to detail in regards to any further additions.

We're probably re-treading old ground here, but it would seem there are several open threads discussing things of this nature, could be an idea to throw them all in one place...?

*Player appearance
*Jerseys (Look & fit)
*Shoes
*Signature elements (Shots, celebrations, pre game etc etc)
*Arenas (Visual & Audio)

^^^hopefully if we saturate this thread enough regarding the points above, someone will notice and maybe help to push the envelope and improve the legends experience moving forward.

Running List of Classic Teams That Could Be Added Featuring Players Already In Gamel

To get the ball rolling, (By no means top of my list) I'd like to see the inclusion from day 1, of the classics team's alt jerseys. Normally 2k has a bad habit of actually having the jerseys in game, fully available for current day teams, but not for the teams that actually used them in their respective era - most notably, the Chicago Bulls 96/98 alt jerseys, and the Orlando Magic 96 alt's.

Absolutely maddening that most classic players in 2K17 wore the stock 2K shoe.

There's no reason 2013 LeBron or 2000 Kobe shouldn't be laced in their sigs, they're already in the game!

If you guys want to consolidate everything here thats fine. I would need to lock the other 2-3 though. We dont need all of them popping up with feedback once the the legends drop.

This may be biased, but I think retro Vince Carter deserves a major overhaul of his signature moves and skills. Feels to generic for the legend of dunk.

At least bring back his dunk package. Why does the [emoji238] dunker not have a dunk package in the game?

Wilt is the number 1 player that needs to be fixed in my opinion. Not only for the potential younger 76er and Warrior versions of him but for the 70s Laker one that we've been getting for the last few installments.


Waaay too cartoony
too dark skinned
and the body should be more athletic looking.

This is also something I'd love to see the art team fix, we've been asking about this for quite some time now - the fixing of MJ's calf sleeve.

It's literally covering almost the entire space from the knee down in the last few games and definitely needs reworking - it should sit on his leg like the below images:

Yea 2k seem to be cutting a lot of corners to not spend too much money I guess. Hardly any signature shoes, very few of the actual coaches and a bunch of other things they leave out.

Man itd be cool if 2k somehow pulled off getting Miller and Barkley on their respective all time teams..

Shoot I'ma hold my breath as long as it takes. i just can't see 2k doing something big like this without them included on their teams.

One of my biggest complaints with classic teams is how bad the uniforms look. I would assume modifying the faces would be very time consuming, but jerseys shouldn't be as time consuming. Apart from all the color inaccuracies , the numbers and font look way too small. I couldn't play with a lot of teams because it just looked so bad. Here's an example. Just compare real life Isiah with his in-game model..
