here are 2k7 and 2k8 updated rosters
for those who are interested in 2010 rosters for those games, i have attached them in .ROS format. the 2k7 is more complete because i like it better. i even created a few rookies (heyward, ike davis, strasberg, and the japanese pitchers from the mets). if anyone has trouble transferring them, use modio and 360 hash block calculator. enjoy.Tags: None -

Thanks mooch. I also think 2k7 is still the best. Could you continue to update 2010-2011 rosters for 2k7 and 2k8 please??? More so 2k7? Thanks... I'll keep my eyes locked on this thread the whole season. -

Originally posted by mooch49i'll do my best, but can't promise anything. i just updated the 2k8 roster which i have attached. these rosters are certainly good enough to get people started if they wanted to start seasons/franchises. you may want to create certain minor leaguers for your own favorite teams and change lineups the way you want them. i did most of them just going on what i have watched. but certainly they are far from perfect. but considering how outdated they were, they are a good start.
just updated 2k7 roster.Comment

Re: here are 2k7 and 2k8 updated rosters
Does not work at all mooch. Comes up as damaged. I've used Modio (inserted my own profile id and console id; rehashed, resigned) and Hash Block Calculator... Doesn't work.
I remember using updates from another person who did a 2k7 roster update for the previous season...
In order for the roster file to work, you need to upload your whole mlb 2k7 folder (this is the folder that contains both the PROFILE file and ROSTER1 file). So basically, we need your PROFILE file as well as the ROSTER1 file together in order for the rosters to even work... Just upload the folder containing BOTH these files and then we can just drag and drop the folder with BOTH files onto our own harddrives (beneath MLB 2k7 game on the harddrive; will probably be a folder there containing the things we have already saved in 2k7, including our own PROFILE file, SETTINGS file, maybe our own ROSTER file(s) we have saved, downloaded from online, etc. <--- Will just delete our own 2k7 folder and replace it with yours).
Try doing this... I am very eager to use these rosters.

Still not working...
Try downloading that other guy's rosters for 2k7 from last year, and compare it to what you did maybe?
Here's the link to the download:

Re: here are 2k7 and 2k8 updated rosters
latest files not working... please accept friend request so we can use the chat feature
I took a look at that other guys layout of how he did his roster, and he didn't just upload the whole mlb 2k7 folder, but he uploaded a whole xbox 360 profile...
Now i remember...
whenever I wanted to use his roster, I had to sign in to the xbox 360 profile (offline one) he made just for people to use the rosters...
I think you need to do this...
1. Create new, offline xbox 360 profile just for the rosters, called MLB 2k7 2010 Rosters, or something.
2. Start up MLB 2k7 with your main xbox 360 profile (the one with the updated rosters on it).
3. Load up the 2010 rosters in the my 2k7 menu, or something like that.
4. After loaded, hit the xbox guide button and sign out, while still playing mlb 2k7 (don't go to dashboard!!!)
5. Sign in with profile you created just for the rosters.
6. Once signed in, in the my 2k7 menu, save the profile. then save the roster.
Then bam. The 2010 rosters should now be on the offline profile you created...
Turn off your xbox and sign in with your newly created xbox 360 profile and load up 2k7. Then see if it loads up your roster file...
If it works, then just upload that whole xbox 360 profile so we can put the xbox profile onto our harddrives.
If not, then we'll be in touch.Last edited by krspykreme2; 05-08-2010, 06:11 PM.Comment

Re: here are 2k7 and 2k8 updated rosters
I tried placing that guy's .ros file ONLY, not the whole xbox 360 profile he created for the rosters; just the .ros file, onto my hd, under my own xbox 360 profile, and IT WORKED!!!
So i guess all we need is the .ros file.
That's all we need!!!
Therefore, you must be doing something wrong?Comment
