MLB2K11 2012 Offseason Roster

Hey guys, I'm making a 2K12 roster with the updates of the moves from this offseason.

I'd like to know if you guys would be willing to help me out on updating the contracts for all the players currently on each team's roster, and the new contracts of the players who sign with new teams, because the way 2K does their contracts confuses me.

I'll keep up with the transactions and I ask that you guys help me translate the new contracts in to the game. I guess we'll update the contracts of players already on teams later.

Our first signing of the offseason!

Giants re-sign MR Javier Lopez to a 2-year, $8.5 million contract.

• The money will be divided evenly between 2012 and 2013, $4.25 million each.

So how much does $4.5 million amount to in the game?

EDIT: I remember people saying 2K does 20% for contracts. So $4.25 mil. amounts to 850k per year, right?

I also think we should create Darvish, Iwakuma, and maybe Wada to put in free agency.

Could somebody give me an idea of their attributes, accessories, etc.?

No, they're 20% LOWER. So 3.4 mil.

- What is the base file being used (my last file has every player who made it to the majors this year on it...ratings need tweaked, but it would make a good starting point)?

- Instead of releasing a file with regularity, will you follow all the movements and wait (because updating all 4 batting lineups and pitching rotations could become a pain)?

- Derek Lowe traded to Cleveland from Atlanta today (for a AA pitcher). Grady Sizemore is now a FA.

- I have 2 .pdf files that will be very helpful if wanted. 1) Free agent listings. 2) projected player positions plus pitching staffs for each team.

1. I'm using the latest roster I've uploaded as my base.

2. I plan on that. I have to update all the current contracts (players on teams right now) before I upload any rosters. I will keep up with the transactions/ new contracts though.

Waaah I thought of doing such a roster for the pc version. But somehow it's pissing me off. When I do editing based of the official roster there are so many unrealistic things. Batting stances, ratings, contracts, player faces, etc.
Every time I realize that I quit editing.

Updated all lineups/rotations. Just waiting for transactions.
Should we start restructuring the contracts now?

BrewCrew... Would you want to throw your hat in the ring and help with a lot of the editing?? I've kinda seen you as an "arm chair QB" who has a lot of opinions on roster files, but never see you put anything out. Your expertise and opinions would be well suited to help in an endeavor like this... thanks!
