Guys... I have sent jmc a private message on something I'm awaiting his feedback on. In doing more ratings edits tonight, I noticed that a number of pitchers have a zero "0" rating for their groundball attribute. I don't know if it's a glitch that was created or what. But I saw a good many pitchers like this. I was working on updating some of the pitchers to make sure we're getting as much realism as we can and caught this. We'll see what jmc might know on this. (It's a simple fix - it's just VERY time consuming as manual edits take a LOOOOONG time to do). Thanks for the understanding and patience on this... (I've done more edits to this. GREAT roster file! Also, I posted some slider updates to what I'm using - challenging and not for the faint of heart - but quite fun and sim-like).

I played tonight's SF (cpu) at LAD (me) matchup. I lost 4-1. Greinke gave up 3 runs in the first inning, but then calmed down and I didn't give up another run until the 7th. I had 2 innings in which I had 2 on and 1 out - and couldn't get anything done. Vogelsong bended but wouldn't break... stats were on target. Fun stuff!

Marlins Relief Pitcher Carter Capps, is basically using Cardinals Relief Pitcher Jordan Walden's pitching style.

Also, in the next file I created Byung-ho Park. He's a Korean 1B who is tearing it up - and is expected to possibly come to the US in 2016. 28 yrs old - founds some good video on him and a solid scouting report. Dude hit 52 HR's last year - might be toned down a bit over here, but still - that's pretty solid stuff. I had to use a fake player that was 3B to fit his look. He plays 1B - so just overlook that, and I gave him a 100 rating for his 1B attribute. He's the top rated free agent, so he'll be fun to use if you want to pick him up for fun.

I find the easiest way to get the rosters is to use Horizon only and to make sure to drop the unzipped new roster onto the active desktop. Real easy from there. Just close the browser and open Horizon. Great job on these.

Yeah - it's a relatively simple process. The problem is finding Horizon on a site that doesn't appear to be a potential virus waiting to happen to your computer/laptop.

There are 3 sets of numbers: profile, console and device ID numbers that have to be copied from one of YOUR rosters and pasted into the roster that we provide here. After copying and pasting them, hit the rehash/resign/save tab just above those numbers. That's it.

Any idea how to get past the first season in my player mode? 2 different careers I played are both stuck, they freeze during the season awards in the offseason...

Shogunofharlem3 provided this information in the other thread - and having done a search, I believe you had asked this question sometime back. This is all I have to share on this, outside of you taking control of all 30 teams and also making sure you have ample players on minor league rosters.

If I recall from 2k12, and I may be completely making this us but I am almost positive you had to sim from the Calendar screen and not from the Home or the Todays Action (whatever that one is called).

So go to the Calendar screen and try to sim from there. Also, if you are freezing at a certain date, try to sim to the date before it and give the rosters a once over. See if anyone has too many or too few. That will cause a crash, much like it did in NHL 2k10.

Did anyone ever figure out how to get past season 1. It freezes every time I try to Sim "pitching assignments". I check first and every team, every level has at least 12/11.

I have a quick question regarding the franchise mode and updating rosters. Does this program make a way for you to play the 2015 season without having to simulate through the original 2013 and 2014 seasons to get there? My fear is that all the work done updating the rosters will be undone with player retirements if we take these rosters into franchise mode.

Guys, I'm still getting a number of freeze-ups when I play exhibition/quick play type games. Not all the time, but enough of them that it's highly annoying. If this continues, I'm done with this project. I can post another file in a day or so - but I'll probably consider bowing out. The fact that you guys are getting freezes at the conclusion of your season in franchise modes is enough to tell me this is probably a waste of time moving forward.

My game is in good condition and I don't have this problem with any of my other games. This didn't start until the latest face edits that jmc added into the game. Not a complaint - just a fact on my end. So I'll see what the thinking is moving forward and go from there.

But I have tracked all roster moves / transactions - and can post a new file in the next day or so.

(To those of you with questions above - sorry, I'm not really able to provide answers. The truth is, I spend 95% of my time editing rosters and updating transactions. I hardly ever play real games, and those I do - with the freezing issues I'm having - this game is really starting to rub me wrong. Plus, when I work with certain sliders I'm finding this game to be very frustrating for my skill level. So I'm sorry if you're not getting responses. Hopefully others here might be able to give you some guidance).
