MLB 2K13 (360) - 2016 Rosters v 3

-All major and minor league transactions updated as of Sunday September 4, 2016

-2016 MLB schedule

-55 MLB DRAFT PICKS

-40 man roster additions

-Rule five draft picks

-Tons of new players, and Updated faces.

-Position changes.

-Lineups and Rotations updated using roster resource.

-Updated contracts for free agents who signed new deals.

-All of the players who become free agents after the 2016 season now have expiring contracts, any player with an option will have a 2nd year.

-Added the Cincinnati Reds alternate home jersey that was used in MLB 2k12.

-Updated managers for 2016.

-International free agents.






Note: I was trying out the create a player in-game and I noticed that when I was making players that no name glitches showed up.
So it might be possible to use create a player now, but I cannot guarantee name glitches will not happen.


A word of caution

-If you change any players name with more than one star in-game it might cause other player names to glitch.


A big thank you to mkharsh33 for everything, you put a great deal of time into upgrading this roster, for this I will always be grateful. I enjoyed working with you.

Just wanted to thank you for the time you take to do this, as well as everything MK has done over the years.

The timing of this is pretty awesome, I have my copy of 2k13 showing up from Amazon sometime today. Need to figure out how to make the whole Horizon thing work, but saved all the pages describing that and looking forward to giving it a whirl.

When the game came out I let all the negative stuff hold me back from buying it, and have hung with 2k12, still love that game, but not having up to date rosters just kills the experience, and your and MK's strong support of this version pushed me over the hump. Can't wait to dive in!

Great stuff! But would be remiss not to say MK is not still in my thoughts and prayers.

Here is a tutorial on Horizon and transferring the roster file. Feel free to add it to the first post for reference for the users.

Also, question. Anything to avoid editing if using Reditor II on our own?

From my own personal experience 360 roster files that have been edited using an editor between multiple people on the same roster might cause player names to be corrupted. The damage can be minor or severe, I have no idea why.

First and foremost awesome job man cant state that enough and appreciate everything put into this. Now 2nd, im alil confused we were communicating on me working on this together with u and was awaiting the file and was going to start the thread. Now with this thread and seeing as u have others doing ratings and u releasing this already instead of sending me anything im assuming ur good without me? Just wanna be sure before i edit this for my own personal use and preferences then. No biggie either way

I would uninstall Horizon and download it again. There is a link to a clean Horizon download in the other roster thread.

I'm looking to purchase MLB 2K13 for my 360. Before I do, I want to make sure I can update the rosters. I don't have a Windows machine. Any way I can update the game files on my Mac? I don't have Parallels so that's not an option.

Not sure. An option if you have a friend that plays 2k13 is to do what I do for my 2 buddies that don't file transfer.

Now mind you, these are guys I have known for 30 years so they know I won't mess with their account.

I have then change their xbox password to password or something. I log in as them, make a game save so I can get their I'd numbers. Then transfer the roster to them by putting in their cloud storage.

I log out. They change password back and now they have the roster. Not ideal at all but definitely an option.

Just curious since things have gone quiet, are you guys planning to do any further updates? Frankly, what you have provided already is great, and I don't personally expect anything else. I'm just thankful for what you've done.

There's minor things that I've noticed like most of the players need their ages advanced a year or 2, or contracts need a year or 2 taken off to reflect the passage of a year. That really doesn't matter much to me, but if it's happening it would be cool.

Thanks again for all that you guys have done, I've been having a blast with this set up. Really too bad the flack this game got, it just plays such a fun, darn good representation of baseball. If they could have stuck it out a few more years and polished a few of the little animation quirks and things out to smooth it out, this would have been almost perfect.

Watching clips of the Show I just get really bored, that game seems so sterile in comparison. It's beautiful no doubt, I just don't think I'd have as much fun with it.
