Roster Editor (REDitor) is Free!

Hi guys,

Found this on an NBA modding forum. I am probably late to the party but REDitor is also the editor for the MLB 2k series. I know there are only 1 or 2 roster makers left but, let's see that with this information if more would be interest

It works! I've been taking some time to learn what I can. It's a bit more of a program than I thought...just waiting for the time to see (have a newborn) what it can do.

You know it has a help text to explain everything you can do in it right? Its in the help menu on the taskbar.

Is the global editor working for you? I had the paid version years ago on my old pc but the license doesn't work on my new one.

Noticed on 5.0 that all features were unlocked but not Global Editing.

My computer is telling me the file had a virus and wont let me install the entire file. Any work around?

I had the same issue on Chrome. But used explorer and downloaded it. Just can't get those global edits to work

Normally I would make a filter then I could global edit when I had the license. THought this was license free. Very strange. I have been just copying and pasting columns of attributes into Google Sheets, making my adjustments and pasting them back into the editor.

Longer process but gets the job done.

When using an existing player slot to change his name how do you change the audio linked to the name so the correct name is announced in game? For example I changed Joe Mauer to John Smith and the anouncer still says Joe Mauer. How do I unlink the original name and plug the new name in?
