    Can't throw strikes.

    I'm 30+ games into my franchise pre-patch #2.

    I download the new patch today for this game, and now I can't throw a strike to save my life. I can position the ball in the opposite batters box, and it will end up in the OTHER batters box...still a ball, even with a fastball.

    I just tried my first inning in my franchise that was actually fun. Losing games, winning games, etc.

    Inning 1: 5 BB, 4 hit batsmen, 1 HR... 11-0. I couldn't even record an out before getting frustrated enough to just exit. (the HR was GOLFED, and would have definitely been a ball)

    I don't even know what sliders to use at this point. I've tried several.

    Any suggestions?

      I'm guessing that means that you are pretty bad at your gesture. Try turning Gesture Recognition slider down to 80. That should help. If it is that low or lower than that already turn it down a couple of more clicks. Mine was at 100 and I was having a similar problem. I turned it down to 80 and the locations were pin-point accurate like pre-patch. I turned it up to 85 and the pitches are only off if I really mess the gesture up.

          A. Is that Cortland Dragons avatar? (totally off subject)

          B. I had to turn it down A LOT apparently, and I'm still awful with it. I can semi throw a curveball, but my god, my fastball tails away so far. I was much happier pre-patch.

              I got so used to being almost perfect on every pitch in 2k8 where they showed you so I am decent at the gesture this year also.

                  Wow, I should probably have looked at that closely before making such an awful comment. That's what I get for trying to play this game and post at the same time.

                  I'm awful at this gesture stuff. I was fine pre-patch...now I gotta start getting used to it I guess.

                      I like the new pitching. If you want to nibble on the corners, you're going to get some unintenally balls. Add in the composure shaking around, and you'll give up a few unwanted walks.

                      I hate pin point pitching. There needs to be some randomness to it. I don't want to throw a bunch of intentional balls just to get a pitch count to a realistic number. The only intentional balls I want to throw are waste pitches.

                          i can throw strikes but when i get them to 2 strikes they always hit i have tried alot of different sliders can anyone give me some where i can throw more k's im wanting somewhere between 7 or 8 a game?
