MLB 2k7 Soundtrack
How does everyone else feel about it?
I actually like the soundtrack. Anything with Sublime and some oldie tunes is a huge plus for me."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob NeyerTags: None -

Way Better than any of the recent EA trax in my opinion. I'm not dissing EA, they had some good songs on those soundtracks, just not what I would consider a large amount of Good songs.Comment

Re: MLB 2k7 Soundtrack
It's good, but I wish they'd get some cheesier stadium type music for the game as well. When I go to a MLB game the only song off the soundtrack that I'm most likely going to hear is that Wolfmother song.
If the 360 allowed us to transfer audio files from mp3 players, etc., then I wouldn't care about the soundtrack. It just sucks to have to find stadium type music on my own online, then burn the songs to a CD, then transfer them over to the 360, and FINALLY put them in their proper places on the stadium beats soundtrack.........................Operation Sports Champions League 2 Champion........................Comment

I can't stand the soundtrack.
There isn't a single song that even sounds like something I would hear at PNC Park.
I am hoping (against probably insurmountable odds) that VC will release a patch that will include the ability to download songs to our hard drives so that we can put in our our custom music (like in NHL2K7 on the 360).Comment

I can't stand that you can only use your own music files for the menu music. Why can't we use these in-game as well (like in NHL2K7)?It's good, but I wish they'd get some cheesier stadium type music for the game as well. Donnie Iris - absolutely! A little "Ah! Leah!" for sure. I would also work in some "Love is like a rock" somewhere....
I would put in a couple Clarks songs for sure, and then, I would literally go to PNC Park for a game or two, and then go home and dl some of the songs they played at the park those days....
I would also use the Pirates marketing song as the post-game song, which would really add to the authenticity.Comment
