This can not be understated by any means...we get to go in depth with a created player and control every aspect of his play..****n drills on a high school field....negotiate signing bonuses and get drafted by a team out of high school or college....play your way from day 1 through the minors and into the bigs....I'd be a great selling tool for current 2k players and many new ones as well...would also steal fans from Sony...think about it 2k...

Its every little boy's dream of one day playing in a World Series...and YOU can make that happen....

2k presents MLB2k9 with the all new Rookie to Legend Mode (for lack of a better name)...take your player from the depths of the minors up to the majors, compete and win a World Series and many other achievements, and into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
After which, you can experience MLB 2K9's all new Retirement© mode, in which you can sit in Florida, negotiating which type of ED pill to buy!

oh yeah, how about fixing the uniforms - the mets uniforms are completely and totally wrong, and it's funny how they have reyes in the snow white uni on the cover but completely make that uniform absent in the game...

Pitchers could be pitching coach or scout. This adds variety to the scouting system. Also, coaching "popularity" should be a factor added in; player popularity and fan popularity.

Also, I'd like a "Road to the Show" type deal. Basically, clone Sony's thing. Individual player play, etc.

MLB 2K7 features to be brought back:
Graphics
Cyberfaces
1st Person Baserunning

2K doesn't need to be wasting their time developing extra things like these; they should be concerned with making the game play like a real game of baseball.... why do we need all these coaches and scouts and things?..... how about real, on-the-field baseball!

Re: The MLB 2K9 Developers Are Listening

After 2K addresses the glitches, hit types, animations, frame rate and presentation I would like 2K to add more classic teams, as many classic uniforms and stadiums that they can squeeze onto the disk.

- Please add more alternate uniforms. By this I mean retro jerseys that are still recent, like the Dbacks vest jersey and non vest jersey that they used from 2000 to 2006, The Expos most recent jersey before they moved to D.C., The Marlins vest jersey with the marlin emblem that they used to wear all the time prior to 2003, Boston's St. Patties Day Jersey, The Twins' vest jersey, the rays' old jerseys from 2000-2006, etc.

- Demolish the stat generator and get a new one. I have never seen a starting pitcher strike out 200+ batters, including the top strikeout pitchers in the majors. I also dont want to see Arod hitting 80 home runs to go along with 200 RBIs.

- ATMOSPHERE! I am sick of game 7 of the world series after my team was down in the series score 3-0, and coming back to win at home with a grand slam off of Mariano Rivera sounding like a 1st inning base hit bloop during a spring training game.

Sorry about the emphases on the last one, but it's the most important

I agree, just get the on the field game going as close to MLB baseball as they can. I kinda like the living rosters thing that other games have. Having the games rosters and the MLB rosters the same. Although I know people probably trade guys like crazy I know my son does he has 4 or 5 different guys in his starting lineup each week.
