I can tell you where you can play MLB 2k9 for the PS2. Just go to your local gamestop and pick up a used copy of MLB 2k7 and there you go. Its sickening to me how they keep releasing a new PS2 version every year with a $20 price tag and absolutely nothing is new about it. I dont expect much to be new, but come on, at least add SOMETHING. My little nephew had MLB 2k8 for the PS2 and I tried it out one day just to see what it was like and I dont think I even made it through 3 innings before I gave it back to him.

If you want a PS2 baseball game this year I would highly recommend the other game.

At this point, the "other" game on the PS2 is little more than a roster upgrade itself. The 360 has been out fir 3+ years, the PS3 for 2+. I think anyone expecting a lot of development time sunk into last generation consoles is expecting too much.

Personally, I kind of wish they would stop making these games for the PS2/PSP so that they could focus completely on the 360/PS3.

I dont know about all that. Most (if not all) the new gameplay features in the PS3 are going to be in the PS2 version as well. Most franchise and RTTS upgrades are going to be in the PS2 version as well. I cant really think of anything thats been added to MLB 2k7 and 2k8 PS3/Xbox 360 that has been included in old gen.
