I Rented and Tried WSB2K3

I still prefer HH2004. For a couple of reasons. I tried all sorts of combo's on WSB's sliders and still could never get good baserunning decisions from the AI as I could from HH. In High Heat CPU runners made good decisions when to tag and score or advance and I never saw that from WSB. I had no problem with the hitting aspect of the game I don't mind crsors. Pitching also was pretty good even if the pitch selection was lacking. I still don't like that after the hitter gets a hit the game after a predetermined time switches to the next hitter instead of letting you throw to the cutoff man like HH does, alot can happen during those throws.

WSB has some nice animations and graphics and the gameplay is good but I find HH plays a more realistic game of BB and on my Mits 65: wide the graphics still look good and maybe sharper than WSB2K3 stretched picture (I Have no 720p support)

I don't get this. This AI baserunning is aggressive. I remember one person posting that on a fly ball hit 10 feet in front of the warning track the runner on third would not score? That's LAST years game, certainly not this year. I had a game where I let the ball roll to my centerfielder rather than move him in to pick it up. As a result the AI runner NEVER stopped and wound up on second. Good decision by the AI me thinks.

I don't get this. This AI baserunning is aggressive. I remember one person posting that on a fly ball hit 10 feet in front of the warning track the runner on third would not score? That's LAST years game, certainly not this year. I had a game where I let the ball roll to my centerfielder rather than move him in to pick it up. As a result the AI runner NEVER stopped and wound up on second. Good decision by the AI me thinks.

Agree, HH looks BETTER than this game, more fluid, sharper, and better animation, this game is overrated.
